Men do this a lot, they don’t want your focus on them to stop but don’t want the responsibility of investing in you fully. It’s kinda at his own discretion and you deserve more than he is giving you. It’s not confusing hun, it’s jus a game he’s playing to feed his ego. If I were you, I’d turn down some those “work dates” thanks but no thanks. Find someone who wants to take you on a romantic date.

I'd walk to this person when he least expects it, then ask straight up, what's going on? Why are you acting so wired or out of character? Perhaps he thinks he's ready cause his past person is with someone and wants to fill a void? Keep your boundaries is your best bet... Keep things professional 😉👌
