I loveeeee the first half of phase three, where papyrus is still obviously in control and allowing the souls to take control, hes trying to kill you, but in a unique fashion to how he would... But in my opinion Halo dropped the ball once papyrus got hit, i felt like halo could've done so much more and then fully embraced the horror after papyrus was struck, and added more creepy factor... Its obviously unfinished, but still love what halo did so far

Even though this is unfinished, this still feels really good. Halo is in college and still making this? This is really good. Phase 3 seems more creepy, and less ominous/"Something is Wrong" like the first iteration of the game. But I still like it!
Love the sprites. I kinda miss the uncanniness of phase 3. That 3+ minutes of just pure panic while Papyrus uses the souls, and then he goes back to normal and melts with that weird phase. Though i still love Halos dustbelief! Still one of the best takes in my opinion.
My biggest gripe with the remaster is that it doesn't have much of the horror factor in phase 3 as the old one did. Other than that, this is pretty decent.

After figuring out that Halo has college, it makes chapter 3 more meaningful, the display of papyrus' greiving and forgiveness even after all the bad things he has done.
Is this game still unfinished cause a lot of parts seem missing, the cutscenes, second part of phase 3 and a lot of stuff that was shown in the dev streams and on the channel.

I love this interpretation of dust belief. it finally feels less edgy and unrealistic, more canon. I also love the way you made him wear Undyne’s helmet. It feels the same as how in pokemon, a Cubone wears their dead mother’s skull as a helmet. So sickeningly meaningful, so bittersweet. Edit: I’m almost positive he blames himself for it too. If he’d just listened to everyone when they said the human wasn’t safe, all his friends would still be here.
@@ixa121 In my own personal theory, I kinda just think Papyrus's Soul just, gave up. It was too stressed/overused in determination due to how much he was using the Souls in it of themselves, so the Souls disobey and get out of him, leaving papyrus into just a simple pile of..amalgamate.
I don’t really like this version. It trades in unsettling and off putting for an actual cool boss fight, and while I like this I prefer the unsettling fight more because it actually got even me terrified. It was the perfect horror phase
wow this a worse version of the original one. this "remaster" (why even release an unfinished remaster?), has: worse sprites, worse sounding music, worse cuteness, worse animation, and worse writing. the original was really good, i liked the atmosphere it kept up.
