Remember, he's basically a hired gun (a professional, if you will) so it wouldn't make any sense whatsoever for him to dictate how things go.

Great recap! Always good to go back for refreshers (especially with all the new info we're getting). A note though: Elliot isn't crazy and he doesn't have schizophrenia - he has Dissociative Identity Disorder and depression. He self-diagnosed early S1 and thought he had schizophrenia before the Robot reveal where he learned it was actually DID.
crazy how season 3 started answering all the questions in season 1. 1) who knocked on Eliot’s door after the hack? 2) where did Wellick vanish to after the hack? and more questions
This tour de force recap impressed me even more than the first-ever of yours that I viewed for "The Handmaid's Tale" season two (since, relatively speaking, that show is fairly simple compared to the many plot twists and turns, as well as multiple story-lines, in MR. ROBOT). Frankly, you've forced me to realize that I only understood about 60% of what was going on with Season 3, and with the premiere of season 4 tonight, this recap has been a HUGE boon (although I think I will have to watch it about three more times through since you obviously aspire to the Strunk and White dictum that 'Brevity is the soul of vigor'). The prestissimo delivery does add to the comedic effect which is, of course, very amusing, but if you don't mind a bit of constructive criticism, don't overdo it on the speed; you did miss a couple of tidbits that a few commenters have pointed out, and your primary goal should be, first and foremost, comprehensive coherency. Thanks again for such high quality and creative work.

The sequence reveals that this is bigger than the LHC in Cern as the central hole through the detectors is much bigger. Are they building a time machine??? The White Rose is telling Elliot in the first season: "We hack time"
