NCEA LEVEL 1 STATS INTERNAL - EVALUATE MULTIVARIATE DATA - ANALYSE CENTRE

In the fourth video of this series, we will learn how to analyse the data. In the first of our analysis, we are going to analyse the centre. We look at both the mean and median of both the forward and back weights and do a comparison. If both the mean and median are bigger for 1 group, we can say that it indicates that 1 group is bigger than the other.

also my final question. im really confused on this because our teacher made us include "median" in our problem question for example "i wonder if forward rugby players tend to have a greater median weight than backs... etc" i want to know if this is correct or incorrect because we already figure out which one has a greater median weight in the analysis in the "centre" section and we can also just see by looking at the red text next to our graph. because if we already know which one has a greater median weight, what are we meant to talk about in the conclusion?
