This is the first real motorcycle I really fell in want to own what a bike pure beauty pure function a real artful creation a ride into the mists of history!
I live in Australia and have recently built a bike and now I am on the hunt for a knucklehead. You guys are so fortunate to have these beautiful machines so plentiful over there. Awesome bike, thanks for the video

I know Sid. I rode with him. He has worked on my '02 Softail Standard. He knows what it takes to keep a bike up and running. Due to life getting in the way I have not seen him in a few years (my crappy life). He IS a hardcore biker. He is NOT a weekend warrior.
How the hell does your bike start so fast. I just watched these bobber videos with those rockabilly guys and they have to start kicking their bikes over on Wednesday to make it to the Saturday ride
The seating and foot peg positions on these older Harley's are more like the old British standards like the Bonneville etc. I don't understand why Harley has changed that to the front laid back cruiser style foot peg position. I just don't like the cruiser style foot peg position. Harley's also seem to have increased in size. That's a great looking Harley. Go back to this Harley (with standard controls).
Best description I've read so far regarding the timing advance. Most ppl just act like dicks when someone asks pretty much anything about harleys, you took the time to explain it very well. Thanks man, have a +1! =)

I've had several old Harleys. Once I was riding my 1980 Yamaha XS850 with a buddy riding his 1936 Knucklehead and amazingly I had trouble keeping up to him from a stop sign, for the first few seconds he's be a hundred feet ahead. Any modern model Harley with footboards is the exact same position as way back then, and they were never like British bikes.
and us taller big guys can't ride a bike with the mid-control position.
