Pogba cost so much because he can do pretty much everything on the pitch you would want from an outfield player. But the main reason he's so expensive is he's competes in the highest level. Just look at the achievements he's accomplished in the last 2-3 years: 3 Seria A league titles,Golden Boy Award,Fifa WC 2014 best young player,Champions League Final 2014-2015,Euro 2016 Final, Top assister in Seria A 2015-2016 and In the Worlds Best XI.
And people call him overrated, its bullshit

Pogba also cost so much because everyone costs more now than even a few years. The Prem TV deal makes Prem players like £10 million+ more and clubs across Europe can smell the money coming from them, increasing the price for their players too.

He can do everything but defend. He was found out at the euros as France were pressed high, whereas for Juve in Italy, teams don't press very high. In England Pogba would lose the ball to much and can't see the defensive side of the game as a midfielder. That is why he is over rated. Also no midfielder is worth 100m when Kante went for 32m.

I'm a Liverpool fan but Ferdinand is fast becoming my favourite pundit. Intelligent, charming, funny, real and down to earth and he knows his football. Pogba is gonna be a massive waste of money, it is one thing being dominant in a league full of slow players like Serie A but the EPL is another level with players just as fast and athletic as Pogba

Chelsea or United to win the league. Arsenal and Liverpool wont because of this deep sited belief of aiming too high too soon. Ranieri did it right with Leicester last season. Its not "its September, we're going to win the league" its "alright lads, I want 3 points this week. Forget last week, forget next month, I want 9 out of 15 points this month minimum". Its the small steps that will win you the league, and with the likes of Liverpool and Arsenal believing too early that they will have to do great because they once were great, it will be their downfall as usual.
