The video doesn't actually show the removal of the glass, so if you've never done this before or watched other screen replacement videos you still won't know how to do the task. Real productive use of your channel.
If you dont actually know what your talking about, you probably shouldnt comment. This particular model, the S10, doesnt need its glass removed. Its a direct replacement of the screen, glass, and frame.
Im glad you this video is showing the use of plastic cards to open the back. Unfortunately I ignored that and used a thin spudger which come with a mobile phone repair set. Bad idea. The whole back cracked into little pieces like a sheet of ice (and those shards are mightly sharp too) It is incredibly fragile. Made of thin glass or something. Fortunately you can get a back cover for about $10. Always use the plastic film (and shown int his video, so my bad) .
Yeah right............ Not much "oops" latitude. I didn't see how you replaced the battery waterproofing plastic membrane. You're very brave....... Good work! Congratulations!
Helpful video. At 5.30 mins, when you separate the lcd from the bezel using heat, some people use a liquid to help remove the adhesive easily. Does anyone know what this liquid is?
It depends if you buy the proper seals that are by samsung not the cheap ones that come with the screen u will get waterproofing back. But i would still not recommend you dipping it in water or anything always use the waterproofing as a fail safe if your phone accidentally falls into water. Samsung will not even give u warranty or anything if your phone is water damaged.
After replacing my screen&frame, my speaker no longer works. I tried a new speaker as well thinking it may be the culprit, but it still does not work. Audio only comes out of the earpiece when playing music or on speakerphone. Headphone jack works fine.
Does Finger Print works after changing the OEM Replacement, Just one shopkeeper(spare Parts shop) told me that after changing the display , finger Print will not work.
Can still be used, do not recommend the use of TFT screen, we more recommend you to use original screen, although the price is relatively high, but his function is very powerful.
Hi, I just replaced the screen with one I got on ebay. I now have a weak signal. I'm not getting 4g. it shows 1x or 3g sometimes. is there a built in antenna I'm missing?
this screen costs just as much as it would if I sent it to Samsung directly to be fixed... why spend my time doing it and risk fckn it up, in that case?

Btw i have to put this out there for anyone attempting to do this. First there is no good screen yet for this no2 even if there was these Chinese knock off screens use samsungs oled but replace it with very cheap glass. I can give you an example i had an s8 that was broken for a year and half with an original samsung screen i dropped it countless times because it was broken and the oled or digitizer never stopped working. I bought an aftermarket which according to the guy was original "samsung" bunch of balogne samsung doesnt sell parts like that. Anyways got my screen replaced first drop literally the first one the glass cracked and the damage went all the down to the oled causing it to bleed out close to the digitizer rendering the phone useless because i couldnt see anything. My advice get it fixed like that and sell it asap or trade it in(would be alot better as you dont screw anyone who might not have much). Hopefully this helps someome considering doing this. @@Pb9098_ The insurance is bs. We have been paying 9 dollars for a protection plan. It's still 170-275 just to replace the glass. It's all complete bullshit.
Extremely poor instructions, not just in this video but with the actual replacement screen kit. I ended up overheating the USB port where they show to use the heat gun. I now have to get the USB port replaced... This is almost worse than not having a video at all. And for the cost of the replacement screen, a shop can replace it for you at the same cost.

The video has skipped the part on how to connect the screen at 3:05. Also, it doesn't show how the 'Back cover adhesive' is applied.

@@rajanprithwee2898 Yes, everything working fine.
It's really that intrusive? No wonder my camera stopped working after i sent it in for repairs.
How can I tell if the new screen is original?
Is all this neccessary to just replace the front glass
Yes
You cant replace the glass because the AMOLED panel is too fragile and you have a 0% chance of removing the glass without breaking the panel

Is the screen the same for both snapdragon and exynos model?
Do u have a video s10 plus front screen
Is the screen from witrigs an OEM screen replacement from Samsung itself or from a third-party?
3:30 how did the fingerprint sensor worked here? It's just a screen , and the phone is upside down !!!!
the sensor is built in the screen itself... that's why the screen cost 250$
