- In this video titled EU4 A to Z - I Played The WORST NATION In EU4 And It Was TERRIBLE I play as Samtskhe in Europa Universalis 4 1.37 Winds of Change. This is the series titled A to Z where I attempt to play every* nation in EU4 in alphabetical order. Of course I had to remove some nations so the challenge doesn't get too boring. In this video I play as the nation of Samtskhe and I attempt conquer the provinces of Heidelberg and Detroit. So, let's see if I managed to do it! I hope you guys enjoy this series. Savoy into Sardinia Piedmont into Italy (into Rome?) :3
Savoy sounds like savory so you should conquer all of the most savory provinces (provinces that make cows).
Form Sardinia Piedmont but also own and control the state of Piedmont in Eastern America
Amadeus VIII, the father of Savoy's starting ruler is still alive in 1444. This madlad was not only the first duke of savoy ever, he is also the last antipope in history. So make your dad proud:
•Make the Papal states not exist
•Own all the antipope birthplaces (Roma, Napoli, Alexandria, Cosenza, Verona, Parma, Limousin, Terracina, Cremona, Arezzo, Spoleto, Chambery, Calatayud, Crete, Foix, Teruel)
Seems reasonable, theyre all relatively close and he can follow the mission tree.
Alternatively just do what the house of savoy did in real life and form Italy!

Amazing (and sophisticated) idea... but hey! He HAS to form Sardinia Piedmont! This should be a pre-requisite. The most beautiful color in EU4!

Savoy formed Sardinia Piedmont then Italy, but lost its heartland to France doing so, so, as Savoy, form Sardinia Piedmont, then Italy and own the entirety of the France region, to avoid losing your heartland to France

As Savoy, for Sardinia-Piedmont and become the biggest producer of fish (sardines) and all the bonus for trading in and per-province bonus for fish
Hawk, even though most of us like the challenges of crazy objectives, you should pick some nations to have a free-fun game also. I think most of us would love to see a chill campaign developing the nation, following some cool mission trees and developing a nation with nice army, economy and, specially, borders. What about that?

Since Sardinia-Piedmont is often known as “the toothpaste colored nation” due to how minty fresh it looks, As Savoy, you must form Sardinia-Piedmont, and conquer all of Egypt, as ancient Egyptians were the first to invent a sort of toothpaste in around 5000 BC. As a bonus challenge, colonize and/or conquer the state of Connecticut, as that is where modern day toothpaste was created.

Since Savoy was briefly part of 'Middle Francia', form it (aka Lotharingia).
Edit: since this can only be done by burgundy or Lorraine, fulfill the requirements. I.e.: Own Aachen, Lotharingen and 25 provinces in the areas mentioned in the mission while part of the HRE

One of the most famous people from savoy was count Eugene of Savoy who fought with the emperor against the ottomans.
For savoy you should fight with/as the emperor and expel the ottomans from Europe.
8:50 there is an easier way instead of waiting 10 years, wait for someone else to attack them while you are occupying them and then vassalize them, you will be called into the war and you can take provinces from the attacker

I *just* visited Turin in Italy last week! It was a beautiful city with a history very linked to Savoy which I had no idea about.

What about a relatively easy challenge? Form both Sardinia-Piedmont and Italy, and don't expand outside of Italy (the provinces you and Geneva own at the start are excepted from this rule).
