When she was just starting, she tried to get a spot on a talent show as a dancer but those slots were filled. They asked if she could sing, tried out and got one of the singing slots on the program. We are so lucky. The rest is history.
Before she came along, there was a lot of sadness in my life, including what I'd say was 7 years of deep depression. That all changed on the day I discovered her which was about15 years ago. I mostly listen to music when I drive somewhere which is still on a regular basis and anytime I drive somewhere, her music is a big part of what I listen to. In fact, I only listen to others on longer trips.

So much good came out of those first two albums from the songs, to the remixes, to her beauty, her charm and her incredibly beautiful dancing. I think a big part of it too was she loved what she was doing and you could see it and her fans enjoyed it so much and she fed off her fans.

@@thedog5k I kick myself over that too. I was working for a major airline and could've easily flown over there for one or maybe a few en concerts or shows. But I feel thankful for the fact that at least in those times, so much was recorded in different ways. Too bad too that they weren't in hd!

This is a 22 minutes of stitched video without even a storyline. It would otherwise be boring. But I keep watching it for the entire 22 minutes! I love this mix! Her choreography for "Je n'ai vignt ans" is literally iconic. It really became iconic. Her dancing is incredible.
