The free tickets are for those who can not afford it. Not for freeloaders! It's a worthy cause to support films like this that raise awareness to an issue we should all be aware of already.
The free ticket ploy is a campaign to make the film appear more successful than it actually is. Something as bold as “spreading awareness” has nothing to do with it. Pretty sure most folks are already aware human trafficking is a problem.
I saw the movie and you are right on! The only thing I wish is I brought a box of tissues and a stress ball! Some scenes are so hard to watch I wanted to punch a pillow. Definitely a one watch movie for me; like you said. But it has forever changed me.
Of course Hollywood wont put it on every theater but they will put 1 out of 5 to put it down. They say its too much to put it on screen, but a 8 years old boy can play GTA easily ..
I'm so glad i saw this. Its incredible how good this movie is with a budget that low. Jim Caviezel is powerful in this, but the kids are the stars. This movie was made 5 years ago and Disney suppressed it (as it was originally slated to be distributed by Fox, disney bought fox, Disney let it languish, then the film got more alternative funding and indy distribution amd now we have it.)
Thank you for reviewing this movie man. This is a movie that needs to be seen to increase awareness of modern day slavery and human trafficking. As cinephiles, we can become superficial in the movies we watch, particularly with blockbusters, cbm, and star wars, so im really glad a serious movie about a modern day crisis that is happening that people dont know to much about including myself. Tim Ballard reminds me of a modern day Oskar Schindler because they both helped saved people in danger, the former from child traffickers and the later from nazis
Credit to you for touching this one. For some reason this has become politically charged, the subject matter of it should be something that everyone can agree is bad. I guess because Jim caviezel is religious and sticks to his beliefs, which had a bit impact on his acting career.
Where are all the rest of the TH-cam reviewers on this film? Where’s Stuckmann? Where’s Campea? Where’s Jahns? Thank you for having the courage in reviewing this film. I have a feeling that there will be nothing but crickets from the more main stream reviewers that should probably watch it.
@@Ataraxia462same and thank the Heavens that he did review it. A movie like this needs to be brought to the masses and since the Rat (Disney Studios) tried to shelve this movie - it needs to be seen by the general population even more.
1:32 Wow, thanks for mentioning Frequency. It's one of my all time favorite movies. I show it to every new friend who hasn't seen it, and unfortunately that's most new friends. It's so tragically underrated...
This is more than a film, it's a message to how blind society has become and how disney, hollywood and the media refuse to bring attention to this atrocity the world's leadership is responsible for. It's tough to watch because it's the most evil activity taking place on earth today. This is the most important issue society must address without mercy.
@@meganega123Well, this movie has been finished since 2018 and was originally supposed to be distributed by Fox, which was purchased by Disney. Disney decided to shelve the film and bury it.
@@mariahs283they buried it because it’s a boring slog of a film hero-izing a guy who should be asked serious questions about his organization and a slog to sit through, it’s completely understandable why Disney shelved it and there’s no idiotic conspiracy involved.
Jim Caviezel's range is really impressive, especially when playing bad guys who think that they're the goods guys ('Deja Vu,' 'High Crimes') but even when he's playing less complex, larger than life pantomine-type villains ('Escape Plan'), he's just so much fun to watch.
In the present moment in time when Hollywood is devoid of all creativity and originality, opting safely to recreate movies from the past, it's a blessing to know that some producers are still trying to make good movies.
FLICKpick you are an upstanding dude! thank you for reviewing this film it is the most important film to come out this year. Nudge your 'bro' Stuckman to get with the program.
It was hard movie to watch but I'm glad i did. I don't care about your beliefs but harming children like this made me angry and sad for those who harm children. Everyone should come together and spread the awareness about this movie. My theater was sold out and everybody gave huge applause at the end
Thanks a lot for this unbiased, well balanced review! :) There's so much gibberish floating around about this movie, but most "journalists" don't really talk about the movie itself, but about some ideological ideas it supposedly supports. I really don't care about those conspiracy theories. Every movie that is based on sensible issues can be used for that stuff. But how can someone be a responsible, emphatic journalist, while bashing a movie that is so astoundingly well made and is bringing awareness to such an important (but very underrepresented) issue? We're living in very strange times. On the positive side, it is really great to see how this movie still found its audience inspite of the backlash. Greetings from Germany :=)
This really is a once and done kind of film. It’s so dark and gut wrenching that it will stay with you. There are scenes in this movie that I will likely never forget. I think the film makers did an amazing job at nailing the tone they were going for without feeling the need to add graphic scenes. They really did an excellent job at walking that fine line and the film is all the better for it.
I saw "Sound of Freedom" and it was a REAL gut punch and emotional and I really liked it, especially Jim's special message at the end after which the ENTIRE theater applauded!!!!
This movie is to open your eyes to the human trafficking/slavery problem going on in the world, and it does a good job showing the atrocities that happen when no one is looking.
Glad you made a review on this film. Lotta people tend to overlook or undermine child/human trafficking but it’s a serious international crisis. Also I like you’re t-shirt
I thought I was alone in the "one watch" mentality. I expect I'll see this movie one day, but "Born on Fourth of July," and "Saving Private Ryan" are a few in my "one watch group." Great movies but so gut wrenching...
I’ve been looking for someone that would make a review and most importantly that would talk about the issue that nobody wants to talk about, yes child trafficking! It hurts to know that this atrocious thing is happening and not everyone is willing to acknowledge it. I’m just glad that you are taking a stand by talking about this movie that everyone should know about! 🙏
Thanks for this review. I admit this was not on my radar at all. I thought it was some preachy faith based film. But after going to the theater today, it was actually a pretty compelling thriller. Theater was completely sold out.
Yeah the film actually might be good. Jim is an excellent actor, no doubt about it but I'm gonna be honest. I have a hard time watching an actor who believes in far out there conspiracy theories, like really nutty stuff, playing another dude who's also heavily into Qanon bs. Doesn't help that there are a couple of reports out, questioning if those "mission" by the organization really happened like they claim. So I'd take this "based on a true story" thing with a big grain of salt.
WATCH it. Quit going with character assassination. No one cares that Tom Cruise is a scientologist. What part of fighting child trafficking are you against? God's children are not for sale.
Thank you for reviewing this movie! I took my family on July 4. The movie is incredibly well done with subject matter that’s very hard to watch. I don’t think there was a dry by the end. I can only hope that they raise the awareness and the money to aid them in their fight against child trafficking.
Thank you for not just glossing over the movie like its just another movie, this is a special movie that connects to high crimes like Epstein Island, and awareness is one of the biggest or hardest aspects when they distract us with Covid, War, Aliens, and Titanic... they know we are getting closer to the target, and they dont want people seeing this movie for the basic fact that it will wake a lot of people up. But this is only the beginning of this pandoras box.
Everyone should go see this, suck it up guys and spread the word. What this gentleman forgot to mention is child trafficking is over 150 billion dollar business. The whole point of the movie is to give awareness.

@@crimsonstreams As any other religions to be fair. However I think a film should stand for it self as a entertainment value and not as recruitment tool, because when people targeted for recruitment can sniff out what your intentions are, you will find resistance. It should never be on the nose.
It broke your brain more like .
Nobody is trafficking children to harvest their adrenochrome.
Made up rubbish from a film in 2017 called adrenochrome.
QAnon then used that story as facts to promote a lot of lies about Democrats doing the same thing .
Adrenochrome is easily made in a laboratory . Why would anyone with any sense be kidnapping children. When you can make it in a laboratory.
Are children trafficked. Unfortunately yes they are but not for the specific reason of harvesting adrenochrome .
You are all beyond help .
Complete nut jobs.
Thank you so much John for doing this review. You inspired me almost a decade ago to do movie reviews and your content of character stays true to that notion ❤
Thank you for shining a light on "Sound of Freedom".
this movie is devastating and makes us all wonder why Did Disney work so hard to stop it being shown?!
It's important for EVERYONE not just patents. The movie is phenomenal!
It was a powerful movie. Devastating to watch. It’s a storytelling masterpiece. It has an extremely uncomfortable subject matter that has to brought to the light. God’s children are not for sale.

Love the free tickets but this is one movie I will pay to go see to support the makers
Big props to you reviewing this. Mainstream vanilla TH-cam movie channels won’t touch this.
Thanks!
BC it’s made by a Christian studio.
Right like where Jeremy review it
@@averagechadlegionary5824they bought it after it was filmed
Thank you so much for reviewing this!!! It needs to be seen and get attention that I haven’t seen from other TH-camrs. Seeing it this weekend!
If you walk out of this film without shedding a tear, you have no soul.
I have to agree. If this film doesn't move you, you've got a serious soul issue.
No. Maybe some of us are just numb to whats been happening in the world out whole lives
Well, I rarely cry during movies, but what I do is that I get a really sad feeling when something sad happens.
What if I laughed hysterically?
I'm glad you're reviewing this. Thanks John!
This is the most important movie of our lifetime.
Great review! Everyone should be aware of the scumbags in this world !!!
makes you wonder why such a highly reviewed movie hasn't crossed 100M
Credit to you for touching this one. For some reason this has become politically charged, the subject matter of it should be something that everyone can agree is bad. I guess because Jim caviezel is religious and sticks to his beliefs, which had a bit impact on his acting career.
Where are all the rest of the TH-cam reviewers on this film? Where’s Stuckmann? Where’s Campea? Where’s Jahns?
Thank you for having the courage in reviewing this film.
I have a feeling that there will be nothing but crickets from the more main stream reviewers that should probably watch it.
They're too busy oggling eleven year old girls doing suggestive hand jives to lascivious rap lyrics on TikTok and IG.
Literally just got done watching Jeremy's review then popped over to this one.
@@Ataraxia462same and thank the Heavens that he did review it. A movie like this needs to be brought to the masses and since the Rat (Disney Studios) tried to shelve this movie - it needs to be seen by the general population even more.
I would be surprised Stuckmann reviews this movie. Sadly he sold out a few years ago, and is desperate to make it big in Hollywood.
Glad you covered this. Not only was this a great movie, it’s a necessary movie
The Flick Pick needs more love. ❤
so glad you reviewed this, let’s get the word out and help end this horrific nightmare.
Thank you for reviewing man.
1:32 Wow, thanks for mentioning Frequency. It's one of my all time favorite movies. I show it to every new friend who hasn't seen it, and unfortunately that's most new friends. It's so tragically underrated...
Thank you so much for reviewing this film. I’ve seen Tim Ballard speak and have been interested to see his story on screen.
This is more than a film, it's a message to how blind society has become and how disney, hollywood and the media refuse to bring attention to this atrocity the world's leadership is responsible for. It's tough to watch because it's the most evil activity taking place on earth today. This is the most important issue society must address without mercy.
🐑
I dislike Disney as much as anyone but what the hell have they to do with any of this?
@@meganega123Well, this movie has been finished since 2018 and was originally supposed to be distributed by Fox, which was purchased by Disney. Disney decided to shelve the film and bury it.
Idiotic take.
John's a real one for doing this review
Thanks for the free ticket, You Rock Flick pick!
This was originally supposed to be a 20th Century Fox movie but Disney buried it when they bought the studio.
Good on you for reviewing this. Big ups.
This might be the only mainstream TH-cam review i may have found of this movie till now.
I appreciate the honest review
This movie was on my radar and looked worth seeing and supporting. Now I gotta check it out.
You won't regret it.
Notice how they promoted both Oppenheimer and barbie just to overshadow this amazing movie
It was hard movie to watch but I'm glad i did. I don't care about your beliefs but harming children like this made me angry and sad for those who harm children. Everyone should come together and spread the awareness about this movie. My theater was sold out and everybody gave huge applause at the end
No applause at the end in mine. People were sobbing at the end and left the theater in ominous silence.
Thanks again John, looking forward to this
He was in the COUNTE of MONTE CRISTO 2002 film as well.. it's Awesome..
Dont mess With The Lords Children Loved the review John!
Thanks for reviewing this and promoting. God bless!
How come Chris Suckmann, I mean Chris Stuckmann don't review Sound Of Freedom?
One word. Demonitization.
Greetings from Germany :=)
Hell yeah! Thanks for reviewing this. Im going to try and go tomorrow during the day.
Great review, John. Enjoy your 4th of July.
Glad you made a review on this film. Lotta people tend to overlook or undermine child/human trafficking but it’s a serious international crisis. Also I like you’re t-shirt
I did the pay it forward for 2 tickets, and will be purchasing tickets for my wife and I to watch it Wednesday.
A lot of people think so, due to the film being distributed by an studio that usually sponsors faith-based films. This film was not one.
u Probably like preachy pro-gay and feminist propaganda. I’m always suspicious when people say things the way you do.
I can only hope that they raise the awareness and the money to aid them in their fight against child trafficking.
thanks for covering this!!!
Props to John for reviewing this movie
Thank you for not just glossing over the movie like its just another movie, this is a special movie that connects to high crimes like Epstein Island, and awareness is one of the biggest or hardest aspects when they distract us with Covid, War, Aliens, and Titanic... they know we are getting closer to the target, and they dont want people seeing this movie for the basic fact that it will wake a lot of people up. But this is only the beginning of this pandoras box.
Shine a light on evil.
Everyone should go see this, suck it up guys and spread the word. What this gentleman forgot to mention is child trafficking is over 150 billion dollar business. The whole point of the movie is to give awareness.
I wonder how many people will never make the connection the human trafficking is related to not protecting our borders.
Bro, Ciudad Juárez and Tijuana are case of girls and infants missing massively decades ago.
@@jocamito19840 again . I wonder how many people will make the connection because one story isn’t all the trafficking and it’s increased substantially.
Thanks for reviewing this film John. I am going to see it tomorrow
This is the best superhero movie this year. Hands down.
Jim Caviezel has a very particular set of skills, he will find you and he will kill you... Child Traffickers had no idea who they dealt with.
