51 years ago, instead of welcoming my uncle home, we met his coffin at the train station - by the way, he was Canadian - k.i.a. in the Mekong Delta as part of Operation Speedy Express - he was one week short.
My great uncle (Irish) served to get American citizenship. I remember my dad saying it to me once, don’t know much about him though but I do know he survived.

I am not a 100% nationalist, and I hate 100% nationalists, which motto is:"I have mine, I don't want someone else's" These men are Americans. Yes. I am from Serbia. Yes. America did what it did to my country. Anyway, I don't hate Americans, just the politics, which is what killed thousands of soldiers and hundreds of innocent people, and our politicians are responsible for that. Politics are what killed these men too. These men fought for their country, and got nothing in return. Their country didn't fight for them. RIP soldiers! Glory to you!
