they are so much fun, you won't regret it. I hadn't ridden since I was about 15, now I ride the bike everyday, I slowly built my legs up pedalling on hills and use the throttle to get me back home.

I am the unfortunate former owner of one of these bikes. The controller failed three times and had to be replaced, and the battery twice. It spent 95% of its life in my garage awaiting replacement parts from China. I only was able to ride it literally less than a couple of dozen times and had to push it home or to my car at each failure. The bike is not rideable without battery power as it is so heavy. The warranty ran out while waiting for the 4th controller and when installed, it still did not work. I ended up giving it to Goodwill. A $1600 mistake.
My advice is to buy an ebike from a store that you can take it to for warranty service when needed.

I will not buy this bike. Recently, I had a problem with the controller, which showed an error on my screen. Despite having a one-year warranty, when I contacted Polarna Ebike, they initially replied but did not offer to replace the controller under warranty. I gave up on this and purchased the controller from the Polarna website in July last year. However, I never received the controller and my attempts to contact them went unanswered. I then bought the controller again, thinking that maybe the first one was sent to the wrong address due to a discount offer email I received. I purchased the second controller in September, but I still have not heard back from the company despite sending multiple emails.

This bike CANNOT reach 60 km/h. The maximum speed the controller can deliver is about 45 km/h (GPS verified). Also, the battery power remaining indications are exaggerated. The onboard display is grossly miscalibrated from the factory. Fortunately, it is all user-configurable and can be corrected to reflect actual current values.

This is a trash bike from a trash company. They battery will die in two months and they won't replace it even though it's under warranty. Buy something else.
