Loving your videos. Can't wait to try these wings. We recently moved to Alaska to build an off-grid cabin and are enjoying grilling outside in the winter time even when it's only 10 degrees out. My brother suggested I use lump charcoal which I read burns hotter and faster. Any suggestions on using that over briquettes or vice versa? I like the idea of natural charcoal but worry it will burn up too fast for grilling something that needs a longer cooking time. We mostly will be grilling chicken.
Lump is great for hot and fast. The pro for lump is that it burns hotter, which can sometimes be a con because it’s harder to keep low temps for low n slow. But It’s great to experiment with both.
