We all know that vintage TV ads can be really good (unlike todays ads that just mock and insult the viewer) but I never knew that old throwback television news is actually pretty neat too!!!
Not alot of people know this, but the Seven News Theme is called "The Mission" and it was composed by none other than John Williams originally for NBC News. It's a masterpiece in its original full orchestral format.

I understood they did know the UN certainly knew before the genocide and there was much confusion and disinterest as to how they should respond before it was too late.
Back when when 7 gave a more realistic up to 4 days ahead weather forecast which was more accurate than todays 8 day weather forecast with Jane Bunn in which generally after about a couple of days it changes to nothing like it was forecast let alone 8 days ahead, I reckon she just picks a number or a storm like a fortune teller and hopes it turns out the way she predicts I find the best way is BOM radar on the day!
