You are back just in time ! Yesterday I started the Salsa On2 course at my salsa school (where I am also a student in the 2nd year of salsa On1). This clip is like a lighthouse in a dark night. I finally understood ! What a relief ! Thank you !
Haha love that analogy! Happy it can brighten your learning process and clear some things up. Keep at it! -Robin

I have caught and liked how he says "the lead" and "the follower" instead of "the man" or "the woman." Sometimes you end up dancing with other genders - man/man, woman/woman, or woman leads and men followers. You have raised my consciousness as I teach others. I kept saying "the man needs to do this and that, etc..." I'll start using lead/follower from now on. Thanks. I really like these videos.
Cool, glad you pulled out something useful! I definitely still say guy/girl when I have guys dancing with girls in front of me but I do try and say lead/follow more often. -Robin
The point is to struggle to do it yourself. When you struggle you give your brain a project. This focus to overcome a challenge builds deep connections in your brain and you actually remember what you learn. If I just show you, the result won't be the same.
I'm going to start learning on2 next month so this is very useful. I assume this conversion works for all on1 figures? Then after getting the rhythm of on2 down I should be able to convert all the on1 moves I know.
Glad to see you're back.
Thanks! It's good to be back :)
