- The mechanic shown in video has you switching between characters with the space bar. switching also changes the instrumental and vocals which is really neat. Honestly a really cute and fun mod with banger music and visuals, I highly recommend checking this one out. Its called Funky Moonleap. Based on the puzzle platforming game, Moonleap! (thanks to goldenfoxy2604 for suggesting the mod. they charted most the songs i think lol)

Huh, a gimmick that doesn't affect the difficulty at all, and instead is just a fun thing to mess with during the song. Oh yeah, this a good mod.
This…. is why i love the mechanic so much. It doesn’t need the be the most insane mechanic in the world that completely changes the way the game is played, its just fun and really well done

I remember there being a FNATI mod that adds in simplified versions of that game's mechanics, including being able to turn the lights, which causes BF to start whistlling instead of singing. This mod reminded me of that last mechanic.
That mod was "Friday night at treasure island" glad it wasn't forgotten

Community needs to experiment more with mechanics like this. Tricky changed the modding scene with the Fire notes, and like most things, mods followed in Tricky’s foot steps, making many gimmick notes in the process.
But it’s about time we start seeing mods that pave a new road rather than following what has already been paved. This mod is incredibly good for innovation alone, and I’m hoping that more creators hop on the innovation train as soon as possible. There’s a reason the older mods are classics even to this day.
Whitty showed us the goldmine that was FNF modding.
B-Sides showed us what we can do with what we already have.
Zardy showed us what long ass music looks like.
Sky showed us that big fandoms can be born even from such small mods of another damn game.
Garcello showed us how songs could story-tell. Even silly FNF can make you cry.
Corruption showed us how a community can take a small idea and birth something never intended before. Passion is the ultimate brush, and creativity is the canvas before you.
Tricky showed us the idea of mechanics and mods have never been the same since.
Midnight Masses showed us what was possible beyond just three songs in one week.
Sonic.EXE showed us that one try wasn’t enough, that we can go even further.
Agoti showed the power of art, how amazing UI and art styles could give a mod so much personality.
DD Takeover showed us how far FNF mods could go. They can become whole projects with whole teams behind them.
Online Vs. reminded us of where FNF came from, the culture it calls home.
Tabi showed us that FNF can be a whole damn visual novel. It really pushed story-telling through dialogue super far.
Matt showed us that even the dumbest charts can be beat, it’s about improving through practice.
Hotline showed us how far good music can go, awarding those who truly knew music in and out and cementing bangers that are listened to even now.
Indie Cross showed us what true talent looks like, how much polish can be put into one mod. It set the bar high, and few have gone higher.
Dave & Bambi showed us that we can get a little silly. That’s right, we can funny like no funny person has ever funnied before.
Hypno’s Lullaby showed us that just barely missing the mark can still change everything, even if your project isn’t as finished as you wanted it to be.
Imposter v4 showed us what a team can do, how even massive ambitions can be satisfied. FNF mods don’t have to be just mods, you can make whole games if you wish.
And to round it off, FNF showed us how talented a community can really be, how even a bunch of no names can make an impact like no other.
These mods are remembered for changing everything. To have your mod be remembered, show us what we’ve never seen before. Everyone has a unique take, everyone has their own mind, so, anyone can change everything with enough work put into it. We all think differently, so we all create differently. Take advantage of that and watch as your creativity explodes.

Imagine if at some point on the song, if you do the switch (Probabbly when it turns to purple), Monster appears instead of Skid n' Pump and it's just a whole different song

The only gripe I have with this is that Skid and Pump share a voice and the person on the right has two.
actually skid and pump have different chromatics, but they share the same type of noise.
They’re gonna update the chromatic for pump when the next update comes out for it

I love how the people take games they like and implement their mechanics into fnf, and this mod with moonleap is a perfect example.
EDIT: APPARENTLY MOONLEAP ADDED PUMP AND SKID TO PROMOTE IT THIS IS SO COOL
It's hard to play with this mechanic. But its unique. I just wish freestyle version of this mechanic was available and not instead telling you "HEY SWITCH UP BRO, THE NOTES ARE COMING"
you can press 7 to enjoy the day version only and 8 to enjoy the night version only though
that honestly is a really creative mechanic that works out really well

I was thinking of something similar to this when I was thinking of how I should make an fnf mod, but instead of switching modes I was thinking of switching characters in mid certain songs.

_Bro, I did not understand anything in mechanics, but I really liked the style of the mod._
You have to press the spacebar to swap between day and night mode (Day mode's when the notes are yellow; swapping to day mode turns Luano yellow as well. Night mode's when the notes are purple; swapping to night mode turns Luano light purple.)
The base chart has both day and night notes, and you have to swap if you wanna hit all of them (although you can press 7 and 8 to only play the song in day and night mode respectively I think).
if you fail to swap then Luano will not be able to hit any incoming notes (he'll just miss them)
I had one of the devs/owner im not 100% sure recommend this tk me, and i played it on stream, and i 100% agree i really like this mechanic
