Hi, Ken, fascinating videos and certainly something I'd likely attempt if I'd not moved away from 00 gauge in recent years. If I may offer a level of criticism, might I suggest a new micro-phone and possibly a new camera? Even a modern phone camera would do the job. The lighting in your videos and visual quality is rather lacking, a crying shame for these superb bits of model engineering you're making. Aside from that? You're doing some great work, keep it up!
@@MajorKen1 I mean, hey man, the content of them is fascinating. But it could benefit with a cold light (Amazon do a great 100w Colour changing light that handles cold light) and a better camera. Modern phones do a great job of compensating colour temperature and even my Blackberry KeyOne handles 120fps slow-mo at 1080p, which I reckon is something you'd find very useful indeed. I'm looking to start doing videos about models in 16mm scale, and I reckon a phone would do it well enough if you're not wanting to break the bank. I reckon you've got some serious TH-cam potential if you keep it up mate. You're doing some seriously clever stuff here and I'd love to see more.
Another great piece of work. I wish I had your electronics and mechanical engineering skills.
Thanks but I don't always get it right
Outstanding work as ever. Wonderful.
This engine was a real pain and though it was never going to run but it did in the end
Very impressive and really interesting to see how you got it to work. Looking forward to seeing it painted.
Thank you for your kind comments I hope that the model will look good when finished
Brilliant engineering work, looking forward to seeing the painting stage and the finished product.
Wow, you've done it again Ken. Another engineering masterpiece conversion of Hornby's live steam A3 power plant. Brilliant, congratulations.
Thanks I just hope things will go a bit easier now?

Yes your right I look at these videos and think that they could be a lot better

would you customize a live steam engine for a certain price? If so how much?
Great proper engineering
Thanks still not sure how this one will end up
