The chana chatpati... the tea in the mkt... the jhalmuri, in which we wud get an extra topping of 'khattai'... yummmm...😊 and then the puchka s...😊 the hot tikki ghughni... the chana jor garam... the vegetable chop... n the pav bhaji... this reminds me of enjoying all of this, while shopping all day out... The 'deem ghughni' reminded me of vendors selling 'deem' nd vendors selling 'ghughni' in passenger trains... (we used to board intentionally for our travel to 'mama bari' during school summer vacations)... Enjoyed..!
Sevok more the junction Goyal brothers magazine shop. Dont know it's still there or not. Hongkong market I used to buy lots of chaata and hawai chappal. Hotel Gateway was one of my favourite. I was in kalimpong for 6 years schooling. Blue Bird one of the famous bus to ply from Siliguri to Kalimpong. My relatives were staying in Hakimpara. Lot of memories with Siliguri. Still love the place and the name is so attractive and very sweet. Sapra ji make a plan for Bankura during Pancham dol. Village name Purandarpur. Also visit Bishnupur.

Especially in Kolkata, have to try kochuri in Gupta brothers sweet store near Chetla road.
