I have always found '56 Studebaker to be fascinating cars - Studebaker did the best they could with what they had available.
Only the Hawks' greenhouse dated back to 1953. The sedans' and wagons' greenhouses dated back to the middle of the 1955 model year, when the cowl, front doors, and fenders were redesigned for the wrap-around windshield.
Did that insurance pay the family of the pedestrian that got impaled by those spear shaped hood ornaments? Those things look deadly.
If they could have just jazzed it up a bit it might have sold more units.
This doesn't look new
it looked good back in its day.
