I would also point out that most high end events also want the DMR replica to be based on a rifle that would be an actual DMR in the real world, such as the .308 caliber, SR25. Thus the bigger mag well in the Echo1 rifle that was shown. Personally, I love the DMR role, Its fun to help move up riflemen using you scope and calling out the next threats. And also using the range of the DMR. Being able to hit someone before they can put effective rounds into you is a big plus! Cool video guys! Keep it up!
Out here in Nevada most of our combat is at mid to long range so a lot of us either use or turn our guns into DMRs I turned my old combat machine into a decent DMR
Simple rules I like it. My field made me use my M4 DMR as a sniper because it was doing 2.0 joules with minimum engagement of 100ft and it order to be classified as a DMR you had to hit 1.8 joules limit with .25g lol ridiculous That's why I carry an MP5 SD with me at all times

Depends on your field or event, most of the time yes with the addition of some upgrades and a simple scope!
