This one was pretty good, too. Not the usual rich man poor helpless waif, blah blah blah... It was good that her story was verified by the mom who was honest in her disapproval until she had the facts. The young man argued Mia's side even before knowing what she said was true; he loved and trusted her. Her word was good enough for him. He had been a notorious playboy, but when she disappeared, and he thought she was gone for good, he had to decide that life was fake. Mia was real and she was all that he wanted. The pain in his heart helped him see clearly and learn his lesson. A lifelong love is for someone you can't live without? Also, the dialogue between the couple was very "snappy repartee"!😊
Okay, explain it to me. How did Alex's initial misunderstanding of Mia transform as the story progressed? What key moments helped him see Mia's true value?
I think that the explanation is patently obvious: the whole thing is BS. I have largely stopped reading or listening to these contrived stories, but this one was on audio on my phone. The phone was with my other important items, on the kitchen table. I was preparing breakfast and didn't want to take the time to silence the phone. These stories all follow the same story line and are as hokey and predictable as the last one was, or the next one will be. If you are entertained by stories like this, more power to you. I hope that you find entertainment in them. They are just not my cup of tea.
This story really captures the essence of what true love is. It’s when two people having no intentions of being with each other permanently, find that after getting to know each other, they begin to experience a feeling of oneness like they had never felt before. Grace, after realizing who Mia really was; realized her mistake & was impressed with Mia’s honorable attitude to not give in to her professor, & even though she was falsely accused; she maintained her dignity in spite of the lies told about her even to the point of them trying to destroy her reputation, she humbly apologized to Mia. She wasn’t the type to allow men to use her for their own gain, & Grace & Alex both understood that about her! When she disappeared & Alex cou😮ldn’t find her; he realized also that she was everything he wanted in his life, & that she wasn’t the type to be bought, & he was miserable without her. But good thing about Alex he was very good to Mia. During her meeting with Alex's parents, his mother question Mia seeing her somewhere. Eventually it was on the media a scandal in a school where sbe attended. Alex mother say that her son cannot marry Mia. Mia told her it was an act. She left when Alex and mother argue. Alex trued to locate her but couldn't. He was very sad. When she work in the cafe Grace appeared and apologise to Mia. Grace investigate the case in the university that involved Mia. She found out she was framed by a professor who did tthis to the unfortunate but Mia stood up to him so they framed her. Grace thar her son was not same since left. Grace told Mia that she is a dignify girl. She pleaded to give her son a chance. She went looking for Alex and she found him on the same place they meet. Alex was fell in love the first time he saw her. Nice love story of Alex and Mia❤❤❤
I wrote a number of books about the Royal Family, and I got used to this accent. Once you get it in your memory, it's hard to get rid of it. When I wrote books about the USA, I had to get this accent out of mind.
The introduction is a little nostalgic, during my uni years, i always visiting my bf's sharehouse on weekend. my bf's housemate's mother came to visit. Well, there's 6 other housemates males there, I'm obviously not her son's gf but since I'm always the one who cook for the them, and the mother assumed i am the gf.😅 In front of my bf, his housemate introduced me to his mother as his GF 😂😂.. WTH.. You should see his mother face, so proud with my cooking. But it was all laugh in the past.. i married my bf
