If you look, I always have a piece of my hand touching their head, so the slightest movement, hopefully I can react fast enough! Lol! This is one of the good flat top ever. especially when you did a free handed on the flat top, he looks even more happier then ever with his flat top haircut. and practice make perfect, but at least it Doesn't looks like a mohawk haircut.
so scary using a 0A blade freehand like that... i used to do it that way with a #1 but as soon as i had a guy shift or sneeze or cough or move i had a frickin divot in the flat top that is pretty much impossible to fix. definitely an excellent show of skill and confidence, not just in ur freehand work, but in the fact that ur client isnt gonna move a muscle :P good vid man. keep up the sharp work.
U shouldn’t have went so far above his perriatal ridge, it began to start looking like a wide Mohawk more than a flat top; remember to straight up off the sides of the head don’t dig in like u did. Just some food for thought, don’t mean to offend and in the end with ur free handing techniques, which I loved, it became a solid cut ! Great job !
like your oyster clippers , scissor over comb ,quickness . but agree with other fellow a bit to narrow . try using a whal clipper on a 3 guard up top. all and all nice. love the attention to detail . mustache ,neck ears..nice work

Just got out of barber school 2 weeks ago and got a job at a shop. Any videos or advise you could send my way would be appreciated beyond measure.

If you have a steady hand, the clipper over comb technique for the top is unnecessary. Speed cutting and free hand sculpting is a time saver and money maker. A flat top this short should only take you half this time. Not a simple cut but practice makes perfect!
Really a great video but I think you viewers are really into to shear flattop experience which would only suggest letting you viewers watch from the very beginning to the very end.

My BF shaved his head bald but I have asked him to get this cut so he is currently growing his hair out so he can get this . I love this cut on a man.
