Its really sad, no one really cared for them or showed up to their fan meetings, no one cheered for them at inkigayo stages, etc. It took them a really long time to become noticed and they were going to disband. I'm really sad I never knew who they were before the release of Up & Down, but that song really was sexualized, and they sexualized it so in hopes of gaining attention as it was their last hope, luckily, it did. But it kind of sucks it took showing more skin and a provocative dance for them to become known. I got into them not through their killer choreography, Solji & Hyerin's amazing (and one of the best in the industry btw) vocals, not through their beauty, but because they are so down to earth, genuine, and sweet, more than talented idols they have amazing personalities and you can tell how they struggled before and because they struggled so, they appreciate their fans, love them, and care for them so much. It isn't a fan-idol relationship they're forced to do and that they maintain to keep popularity, but you can tell how genuine their love for fans are. They never fail to touch my heart, I'm seriously going to cry. Like I'd definitely hop on a plane to S.K just to tell them how amazing they are, how much they mean to me & how much I look up to them, they're like sisters I've never had (since I only have 1 sibling - a twin brother). They've rallied me through my rough patches where I was struggling through their smiles, their tears, and so on. The fact they carried on and never failed to give up even when skies looked gray and when the future looked grim motivates me to pick myself up when I fall as I know there will be brighter days. I honestly think they're the best girls in the entire industry & they truly deserve the world.
