Hey all. Just wanted to say that now that I've had this synth a few months, I absolutely love it. I don't at all regret not going with something like the Hydrasynth. (Which I also dig, don't get me wrong.) This thing has its quirks - many of which were addressed in the awesome new V3 update. But man...I really dig this thing. At this point the only things I wish it had were a light show mode (come on, seriously, haha) and a hotter output...it's really quiet compared to all my other synths.
Got one just a week ago. I love how modern this literally is, but can also sound like it's right in the alley where the 80's PPG Wave and E-mu's are. So far I've made heavy basses and growls that have that Native Instrument's Massive character (circa 2010-2014 dubstep territory). It just screams 2010's nostalgia (:
Very lovely sounds! I just got mine and it rocks. I previously had a Sequential Take 5 that I returned, as it had a horrible sounding FX section (in other words it completly murdered the sound via its ADA processor and phasing issues) when engaged. Much happier with this synth even though the workflow is still kind of menu-dive happy. Sound quality wise this is pretty much pristine and it does great analog emulations. Which suprised me honestly. I love your tones here. Are they stock patches? And if so could you list which ones were used. Some of these are spot-on for the track played. I'm filtering the stock presets and they are just too many.
You have a lot of synths laying around, can you give some feedback about the keybed and how it compares to your favorite ones? I'm thinking of getting either the Cobalt 8X or Argon 8X, both for the synth capabilities and to also double as a midi controller.
I’m not really picky about keybed feel but this one feels great. I think it’s a Fatar? Feels like the same keybed used by the Moog Grandmother and Matriarch

That second patch is very Stranger Things
Nice sounds and nice melodies, i love them 😀

You're baaack!!
It's a great synth...and not just for the money. A perfect partner with my Prophet Rev 2.
I was just playing mine. Modal stuff is underrated. The Argon doesn’t make me want a 3rd Wave any less, but it does cover a lot of that territory.
I just bought a second hands one.

did you use External FX or are they internal? Thanks
All internal.
lol...nice. Someone will get that joke.
But seriously, the effects heard in this video are all on board.
Do you still have the synth? I love mine to.
I do! It’ll be part of the collection for a while I think.
Waldorf? no no, Modal ))
