It appeals to me a lot because it reminds me of James Hetfield's Electra V. It'd be sick if somebody did a custom relic on one of these Ivory Scott Ian Vs.
That guitar would look badass in black w/ the same white pick guard. Im not a fan of the gibson style stop bar tail piece on V's in general. If I wasnt going to use a trem system Id rather have a string through body or a kahler locking trem like Mustaine used to have on his signature king Vs. I do love the JB/59 configuration though. I have a jb in every guitar I own. That is my fav passive pickup. So versatile imo.
John Doe Same pickups doesn't necessarily mean the exact same sound. I guarantee a Les Paul with a JB would sound a lot different than a flying v with a JB
Okay, but there's also wood and body type which at first I didn't believe but after owning multiple guitars with the same pickup set in them I can definitely say it effects tone. My dinky sounds noticeably different than my king v, despite having the same pickups. So unless this guy owns a multitude of the exact same guitar, I doubt all of his guitars sound the same.

Yep. All those people interested in Scott Ian's sig guitar want to hear it NOT sound anything like Scott Ian's sound. And for the love of Dio, learn how to hold a V. EPIC FAIL.
Terrible review. No one is fingerpicking, playing clean or Yngwie on this guitar. Scoop your mods,Crank the distortion and volume. Heavy Riffs and palm muting.
Has some cool references to the Gibson Flying V, which is nice.
Exactly my thought. Looks a lot like the classical Flying V in cream white which I'd LOVE to have but I just can't find one.
It appeals to me a lot because it reminds me of James Hetfield's Electra V. It'd be sick if somebody did a custom relic on one of these Ivory Scott Ian Vs.
Love the tones!
No hate for Brian, but why the hell are you holding a V like that? That's gotta be so uncomfortable
Probably just not comfortable playing classical position
I thought it was for the camera, so it’s able to see the whole body.
That's a common problem for those not used to playing a V model.
You're holding it ALL wrong...
Steve Veramontes 100%.
Steve Veramontes That's how I would hold it,can't do the classical style😂
Chris Carter why lol you would get housed to it trust me I own a Jackson randy Rhoads model it was wired but it's completely comphy now lol
Chris Carter btw sorry I can not spell today haha
dylan vogel It's a sweet looking guitar and I'm sure I could with time and with this one I would love to.
Any time I see someone hold a Flying V like that , i wanna drop kick the guitar out of their hand.
😂😂😂
Great demo🤘
Madhouse Riff - Anthrax 2:09
Beautiful guitar! Just wish you would have played it using a heavier amp..
Heavy amp? Why? Heavier tone would be better.....
;)
Yea why would you want to make an amp heavier. That’s just gonna make gigging with in a pain
Pretty nice playing
It looks like a cross between a King V & my 91 Gibson V . Same colors
Are the wings bigger than a regular king v?
Yuppp king v’s are pretty small
I don’t get how one demos a metal guitar and barely plays what it was made for🤦🏻♂️
@@concertinacultist9971 believe it or not I don’t actually care
no guitar has one genre
Thar guitar is so cool.

Well they make it black with a mirror pick guard now.
So all of your guitars sound the same - what a waste
John Doe Same pickups doesn't necessarily mean the exact same sound. I guarantee a Les Paul with a JB would sound a lot different than a flying v with a JB
Pickups make up about 90 percent of the tone

What song is at 1:55 ???
@musiciansfriend
I like that it's $4000 unlike, ESP sign, Hetfield, Gary Holt, etc for $5200-$6000 IMO Jackson guitars are built better.

dave mustains vmnt is 700$ lol!
Who plays a flying v guitar like that?
Volume knob moved back bout an inch, no?....for aggressive strumming.
Yep. All those people interested in Scott Ian's sig guitar want to hear it NOT sound anything like Scott Ian's sound. And for the love of Dio, learn how to hold a V. EPIC FAIL.
I like it wish it had a a whammy bar!!!!!
Гитара огонь. Осталось обзорщику научиться играть.
But does it djent??
MrAlienautopsy no it thrash !
Nobody gives a shit
No, Djent sucks
MrAlienautopsy fuck that garbage
I'd rather listen to a fork being scraped across a plate than listen to djent
Terrible review.

Scoop your mods,Crank the distortion and volume.
Heavy Riffs and palm muting.
There are so many demos like that tho
Awful cleans.
It's not like this dude dialed in a much better high gain tone.
Pick guard is wack!
