My husband drinks turmeric twice a day. But I don’t think the process used is clean enough. I’m sure lots of dust remains on the turmeric powder. Why do they have to dry the roots on bare ground?? Can they use mat or something??
Why do you worry about the dust? Man was created from dust and also returns to dust. Dust is harmless unless you breath it to your lungs...YET its not as harmful as smoking cigarette The harmful particles are plastics, synthetics, nylons, oil fumes...BUT not dust. Be at SHALOM...PEACE and pray for these hardworking farmers who earn so little.
It literally comes from soil. Soil is clean. You'll find several recipes in which soil is intrinsic to it. Even dehulling pulses involves soil. But yes I do agree that it would've been nice to have a rinse after peeling. We do that at home and a lot of other places do it too before proceeding to mill it
If they’ve been doin for years and years who would know better then them. Look at the age of the lovely lady, I’m sure women half her age will not be able to grind the manual way. It’s the power of herbs. Moreover they did heat it in the earlier steps of preps. Plus sun drying which is powerful yet best germs killer. I saw many boiling it at home, seeing this I’ll just wash well and dry under sun. Remember body knows how to heal itself if you give it the right conditions n nutrition. We are becoming slaves to man made medicines and doubting the nature. It’s time to get back before we get bankrupt !
I love the "third world" countries systems. No electricity, no fuss, no mas, hard work only. In the "civilized" countries they presume of being eco-friendly 🤣 but they don't work as hard like these people
