      James Lindsay recently is getting some push back for not acknowledging that his explanations do not account for what the modern far left is actually doing.
      He's right with a lot of stuff when it comes to the far left like decades or even centuries ago. Unfortunately, he's being stuck with it due to maybe some pride? Or stubborness? I don't know. 🤷🏻‍♀️
      The modern far left is back to the all-anti-capitalism mode, yet James doesn't want that to be true. (Seemingly. 🤷🏻‍♀️)

      @@XxDanielaxX He says the are trying to dismantle Capitalism all the time. He was saying this 2 years before Karlyn was. She is stuck 2 years behind as she admitted she had not listened to James in 2 years. She is missing Marx's manuscripts, dosent understand how Hagel factors into them and only recently discovered Paulo Friere a Henry Giroux which James covered 2 years ago. Karlyn is losing her mind because she is has an incomplete picture. James has covered where they are going in education. This is why Dr. K is melting down. When she started her The Cult series I listened to many Socialism Saturdays, Sophie Lewis videos, and sniping streams. Karlyn released a video about quiting because she didn't have enough subs. I was a paid sub and listened to both her and James.

    I lived in San Francisco when The Peoples Temple was happening. The liberal leaders of SF embraced Jones and he was given civic political positions by the city and state political leaders. These all turned on Jones when rumors and accusations of violence and sexual predation emerged from the Temple. Jones then went to Guyana with his congregation . The rest of the story is well documented.

    An old tactic--find and turn to your uses those who think they have been prevented from winning:
    Saruman: The horsemen took your lands. They drove your people into the hills, to scratch a living off rocks!
    Wildman Chieftain: Murderers! [the wildmen yell]
    Saruman: Take back the lands they stole from you. Burn every village!

    James, the doctrinaire nature of wokies is like Bertrand Russells observation on Lenin after his conversation with him:-
    "I was less impressed by Lenin than I expected to be...absolute orthodoxy. He thought a proposition could be proved by quoting a text in Marx. He was quite incapable of supposing that there could be anything in Marx that wasn't right. That struck me as rather limited."
    th-cam.com/video/6TK9c-caEcw/w-d-xo.html
    Woke is a religion, complete with its own millenarian orthodoxy. It must be stopped with the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment.

    • @jamesbeach7405
      @jamesbeach7405 18 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Using the establishment clause would solve so many things. The issue is how to clearly show that it meets the criteria when they have no gods or prophets and no churches or temples. I'd love to see it done.

    • @tim2muntu954
      @tim2muntu954 18 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Gods, prophets, churches or temples are appurtenances of religion, (Buddhism, the 4th largest religion on Earth is without Gods), the core is a system of beliefs and worship. (what is BLM taking the knee but ritualised worship?). Atheism, secular neutrality, post-modernism are all systems of thought based on beliefs that, like ALL beliefs, and like mathematical axioms, cannot be proved, but must be assumed (believed). Bertrand Russell, in tandem with Alfred North Whitehead wrote the Principia Mathematica in a vain attempt to disprove this fact, and Russell said, failed, and the attempt broke him.

      Let's hope so. Charles MacKay said in 1841, in "Extraordinary Popular Delusions and the Madness of Crowds", “Men, it has been well said, think in herds; it will be seen that they go mad in herds, while they only recover their senses slowly, one by one.” Fortunately, the internet has turbocharged that process, and is infinitely faster than the samizdat that undermined the Soviets.

    The Parable of the Talents, that Jesus told His disciples, encourages every Christian to spend their Spiritual Gift, talents, and money, time, and energy, to spread TRUTH, in His NAME. “Shine the LIGHT”, and speak with “SALT” to PRESERVE LIFE….yours, your family’s, your neighbor’s, your church’s, your place where you work, vote for those who are AWARE of these unhealthy teachings that could actually lead to the DEATH OF HUMANITY, but REALIZE THAT WE HAVE A SERIOUS PROBLEM, in EVERY COUNTRY on EARTH, at this time. AND IT WILL NOT JUST “GO AWAY”. We must help each other to KNOW THE TRUTH, and FIGURE OUT WHAT “I” CAN DO.

  • @rochellecaffee1417
    @rochellecaffee1417 29 วันที่ผ่านมา

    The story about Jesus telling His disciples how to spread the Truth (of the Gospel), is in Matthew 10:1-16, and the Parable of the Talents is in Matthew 25:14-30. Our Christian “Spiritual Battle” is to SPEAK and LIVE THE TRUTH, and when consider WHAT TRUTH IS, remember that Romans 1 says that TRUTH has been made EVIDENT to EVERYONE, as well as the very WORDS OF GOD, in your BIBLE. Also, The ENEMY LIES, and THAT IS HIS POWER. SO, CHRIST GIVES US THE TRUTH to FACE HIM DOWN, JUST LIKE JESUS DID DURING HIS TEMPTATIONS, IN THE DESERT…..LEARN FROM HIM.

    Marxism is not an economic theory. Marxism is a religion.
    Yeah, James is entitled to his opinion as we all are.
    While in reality the influencial activists talk about it all the time how badly they want to abolish the evil system of capitalism (= a system of private property ownership and individual rights).

    • @symmetricat188
      @symmetricat188 26 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Yet here you are, correctly describing the idea being:"to abolish the evil system of capitalism". EVIL system. As in "Good vs. Evil". Defining & redifining "Good & Evil" means to assume authority over all matters of morality & thus, ethics. Which is a religious claim. Moreover, Marx derives the need for the "abolition of private property" from his understanding of human nature. He is, of course, wrong, yet the claim is fundamental.
      His theory is not one of economics, but that of "man's true nature". Yep, sounds like religion.
      Problem is: today's Neo-Marxists have never actually read Marx.

    I wish there were a Christian out there who could effectively tackle this topic. Instead, we are left with James, who takes scripture out of context and says Christiany things when he speaks in churches. Or you can listen to Karlyn, who is very clear about not being a Christian and is hostile to the Gospel, but at least she is honest and understands the material better than James.
