- The threat of bushfires in Australia are always greater in the summer months and in this video I get the MINI TRUCK loaded up with some bushfire fighting gear. If you have a water tank, a pump and some hoses, you may just be able to save your home from a bushfire.

For those playing along at home , 40° Celcius is 104° F. That's hot!! 🥵 🔥
Great video, we have started to have major fires here in France but luckily are clear around our place. 😊
That content is great. The digger is crying out for a grease gun.
Yep when it sits for a while the tracks and rollers get like that. There are no grease points on the rollers unfortunately. Cheers Dave.
@@TreeChangeFarmercould some grease be put on the rollers to reduce the squeaking or would this do nothing besides creating a big mess?
I've heard of some elitists referring to people with the 1000 litre pods as The Bulky Brigade. Honestly, as long as you're prepared and have a unit ready to go BEFOREHAND why would anyone really care? If it saves your arse I don't care how it's done.
Also, if you have another 1000 litre IBC already full it would be a lot quicker refilling from that using your pump. If you want to get real fancy you could have an elevated IBC gravity feed into the one on your vehicle - flow rate would be determined by the size of the outlet and the hoses you use. I'm sure you've already considered options like these.
I think they refer to private IBC vehicles as the "mosquito squadron". Bulky Brigade is a term for bulk water fire appliances carrying 9000 litres or more.
I like the idea of having one stacked on top of another and gravity filling.
@@TreeChangeFarmerIt would make refills in an emergency (ie:fire) a lot quicker…
