A Real Madrid fan wakes from a 5 year coma! The year is 2018 and Real Madrid have just won a third straight UEFA Champions League with the help of Ronaldo, Bale and company. This confirms Real Madrid as the greatest football team in Champions league history. Barcelona won La Liga in 2018.
Fast forward 5 years and Real Madrid look a lot different than they did in 2018. Cristiano Ronaldo left along with Bale, Casemiro, Ramos and Marcelo but they have won two La Ligas and a champions league win in 2022. That 18/19 was the worst season I ever experienced as a Madrid fan, I still remember it fondly how our season ended in March and nothing was good, the only shining light was Benzema stepping up and Vini being the bright spark.
