Pastor EV Hill II was my pastor and dear friend. I loved him so much and being able to watch and listen to him speak on this video is a great blessing for me. He played such an important part in my life. His father was a great man, an awesome preacher. But you need to know that his son EV Hill II was an amazing preacher who loved to sing and make people happy. So caring and I really miss him. RIH
I really admired E.V. Hill. I used to listen to him on television during a rough time in my life. I'll never forget the sermon where he told about standing in line to register for college, basically on the faith of his aunt I believe and with enough faith to do it-- with no way to pay for tuition--and at the last minute found he had a scholarship. Thank you for the reminder of his life.
America needs more Pastor Hill’s for EVERYONE!! Not just in the Black community. I say that respectively because of the state of the Nation as it is currently. Why can’t Black, Hispanic, Causcasian, Asian, etc... Regardless of your skin color, if you have a love for Christ, we should all be wanting to join each other’s church’s.
I remember once in 1990's NYC at the National Baptist convention as I was walking In the convention hall outside the Auditorium, Dr. E.V. Hill was walking or should I say? Strolling arm wrapped around his second wife 💃🙂 and I waved at him, from a distance and he waved back at me!😃🙌 ps I never forgotten that! Amen . 🙆♂️
I, too, watched the homegoing service for EV Hill II about a week after the service. It was an impactful service. The testimony and song by EV Hill III, a treasure.
My introduction for my sermon this morning is retelling E.V. Hill's story about going with Rev. Jesse Jackson over to the Middle East. I call it the, "He's With Me" message.
