പൊന്നാനിയില്‍ സമ്പൂര്‍ണ്ണ ലോക്ക്ഡൗണ്‍ | Edappal and Ponnani in Malappuram under complete lockdown

Four panchayats in Edappal have been made containment zones following the transmission of disease to four people through contact. This also includes 47 wards from Ponnani Municipality. The lockdown here was announced by collector K Gopalakrishnan.
Two doctors and three nurses at a private hospital in Edappal had tested positive. The other day, a beggar contracted the disease. However, the source from which he contracted the disease could not be traced. Even in Vattamkulam, five people tested positive for COVID through contact. Their source has not been identified yet.
