Excellent video. I work with dogs professionally every day and I am a huge advocate of using prong collars. The importance is the proper knowledge of using them correctly. Excellent information my friend!
people literally use it at 8 weeks and do just fine by teaching them leash pressure its your dog just make sure you are being safe and educated yourself every step of the way dont let these weirdos with no dogs or small ass lap dog that run them tell you what to do
You should never use one, they will just give your dog unnecessary pain because of your laziness. Prong collars are a lazy mans tool that will just hurt your dog, there are lots of other effective methods that works without a prong collar and theres alot of trainers that are against it just because it is a lazy and hurtful experience for your dog. Training is supposed to be fun for the both of you, when you put a prong collar in the picture you take away the fun from your dog and he becomes your slave.
For anyone reading this: I know that dog training can be difficult sometimes, but you're doing great. Keep up the good work, and your dog (and your own sanity) will thank you for it! ❤️💕
@@tobiaschillitrollkarl Whatever you do tho, dont use a prong collar. There are so many methods out there that wont hurt your dog, prong collar is just a lazy one and will instill fear in your dog instead of mutual respect. There are alot of other dog handlers out there that actually has a much bigger viewership that also advice against it... For the love of your dog please go search for some more information before you listen to what the guy that runs this channel has to say. He does not know at all what he is doing and if you watch other channels you will see how they handle their dogs with much more care and love.
I'm going to be honest i have no desire to watch this video not a fan at all of prong collars. first off you have plenty of quality methods that dont cause your dog pain imo using a prong collar is lazy dog ownership. say you have a reactive dog, your on a walk your dog sees another dog and starts pulling on you or what not. the prong collar hurts them and then they associate other dogs with pain, where the dog was once excited to make a new friend theyre now angry or fearful and you've just created an aggressive dog good job!
th-cam.com/video/wdrnljxrfbI/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=Beckman%27sDogTraining i did end up watching the video there are good technics i wont dispute that but again plenty of other tools. this biggest worry is someone thinking they can fix pulling with a prong collar and just destroying the dog
Is that association true? Maybe with a dog that just pulls when he sees another dog. But what about a dog that pulls all the time? Prong collars are effective and do not hurt the dog.
So you think yanking your dogs face/head is okay? Just shows how the “positive only” community is😬 plus if it weren’t for prong collars police dogs wouldn’t be so well trained so keep living in your rainbows and unicorn world have fun😁
Thanks for all the helpful information!

That’s not training that’s hurting!,,,, these don’t exist in the UK and for good reason.
