Thank you, this is the best explanation I’ve heard on pull compensation.

This is helpful to know when I’m stitching out a dense design that looks like it will tug at the fabric and cause warping of the design. I had hooped it vs floating it with using sticky stabilizer and SewTites magnets. It could be a combination of lack pull comp or needing BETTER STABILIZATION. It was a fairly nubby tea towel. It wasn’t thin but the threads were thicker.

Going to find you on Facebook. Learning so much from you before starting a project of trying to do those leather or vinyl stuff. Thank you!

I love the fact that you make the satin stitch wider on applique. It is so hard to cut that close! So what should I change it to when I am stitching out.

Floriani software has pull comp in millimeters. I usually add 0.3.

Thank you for not responding the any of the questions asked by your viewers. It's nice to know who much you really care.

I am one person working a business with tens of thousands of customers. I respond to emails, Facebook comments, Facebook tags, and Facebook messages every day. Oh yeah, and I also have to actually do the work of my business. If someone has a pressing question, my contact information is on my website and I mention it in many of my videos. Do you have any idea how difficult it is to keep up with 2, 3, 4 social media sites and respond to every question, or do you just do drive-by comments on TH-cam to pick on small business owners doing their best.
      Get lost.

OMG! thank you for this! I always thought if I just did density it should work and it can be so frustrating! I am all about Pull compensation now! Lol

Sorry if this question seems straight forward to any of you... Wondering if pull compensation is only fixable via file manipulation? My shop sends our files out for digitization and the only adjustments we are able to make are via the settings on our Tajima machine. Are there settings (machine side) that can help with pull compensation?

I am wondering about when it would be appropriate to decrease the density of a design. I want to do a small fill stitch design on a thin knit golf shirt and I need to know if this is something I need to do to make the design stitch out better.

So many mistakes I have made in the past because of not knowing about pull comp. Thanks Melissa for explaining. I think I have the book but haven’t read it, ugh. Can you tell me the number on the gold thread you are using, I use this brand and I may have it already. Thanks for this class!

I have a question for you. I have a gingerbread couple that I have been trying to embroider on a hand towel, but the embroidery is so tight and stiff that my needle can't go through the girls dress to embroider the brickbrack design. I figure the density is to tight but how do I fix it. The pattern is a purchased design.

Do you change density and pull composition in working file or stitch file?

I just purchased the enthusiast so I can try the pull compensation that you showed in your video. I applied the serial number but I can't get the pull compensation option to display in the properties window. Is there something else I need to enable?

16 minutes could have been resolved in 5. The whole first minute nothing even happens.
