@@RegahP some dsp processes require to listen to the sound a bit before they can output something. that comes across like a delay. plugins can report this latency to the host, so that the host can delay every other track by that amount to compensate for the latency. if you can hear the delay in relation to other tracks, either your DAW or the plugin fucked up. so no, it's not a cpu issue

another good plugin is ghz lossy it also does data loss effect
And for people who are broke, the maim plugin is a great alternative
