I want you to help me out on making CV for my architecture portfolio..!! it seems like CoralDraw is way better and easier than Photoshop. please REPLY and help..!! i need to apply for internship..asap..!
Good tutorial, just next time make the fonts bigger and check the cut lines ´cause when you get print, the fonts couldn´t watch it, and take care of your bleed, you can get lose some elements when you get cut. And also use CMYK instead of RGB. CMYK color is more appropiate to printing. The idea is pretty good i liked it. Thank you
Thank you for watching, Good question, I should have addressed this. Its safer to have all important elements in a 3.25X1.75 inches rectangle, this way on printing an cutting it is guaranteed to have all important information safe. Corel uses a 3.5X2 inches for business card size, although its a safe thing to use an extra 0.25 to the width and height, to make it 3.75X2.25 Inches, corel default settings for printing makes it easy, and in my experience I never had to add the additional 0.25. But if not going to use corel for printing, I would advice using 3.75X2.25 Inches, with 3.5X2 inches being the maximum size, and 3.25X1.75 inches being the safe zone
thanks for teaching us, i have a question, the icons i downloaded cannot change in colour just like those ones , the phone, latter, laptop n location icons you used your icons were black and just by the click on a mouse, you changed the colour
i downloaded them on internet, let me watch the video again and see if i'll be able to take them there one more thing, i asked because w would want to use some more icons in other designs in the future, thank you, Sir/Ma'am for replying in such a short time, i highly appreciate that, thanks again
+Ngonidzashe Nelson Minzi Alright. When you download icons, you need to convert them to vector shapes for you to be able to customize them. How to do that in CorelDraw X7: - import the icon(s) - with the icon selected, go to Bitmaps and the Quick Trace (It will create a vector image from the image of the icon) (You can also use Outline Trace and them Line Art) Tip - Works well with high quality icons
I didn't know Corel did printing. I have a few good wholesale commercial printers that I use. Again your video was very good. Thanks. I do have another question. Have you used x8? I am still using x7.
Hi! Thank you very much for watching, Well you need to use a Mockup for that and I explained it all in my latest tutorial, you can watch it here - th-cam.com/video/c1fAnMNP5jY/w-d-xo.html
Thanks for the tutorial man. I would like to know how do you export the whole design for printing. I have tried exporting for Microsoft office as a PNG and fixing it on a blank business card in MS publisher but the quality came out really bad. I'm looking forward to your response.
Thank you Flo for watching. Well it depends how you want to export it, you just click on file and Export, it provide you with multiple options on how you can export your project
Nice Video. Please also show how to include bleed on artwork. As we commercial printers and we receive files everyday from qualified designers that have no idea how the artwork is processed into the finished product and it drives us up the wall :-D They are not taught at college how the end product is created so they do not understand what bleed is and why it is need...
Thank for watching the video Kopy. Yes that is true! You are right, the bleed, trim and safe zones are all important. I do understand and had questions on the same issue, So I made a new video that I addressed these issues - th-cam.com/video/c1fAnMNP5jY/w-d-xo.html . Thank you very much for the tip
