This still gives me goosebumps... Never ever had I seen anything like this back in 1976! This rocked our lives! I was a girl of 15 years old back then, and for the first time I saw ... women rocked! Women could take the lead in a rock band; and rock while singing high and hard; and rock on the guitar, and hit a chord in anyone! Thank you - Heart - for changing my life.
These 70's chick are the best! I was 15 when this came out and I was hooked! Smoked alot of herb and made out alot to Heart, especially "Magic Man"! The 70's were as awesome as any decade could be and I wouldn't trade growing up in that era to any!!!!
I was born in 1975 . I was listening to my big brother´s music (I was not allowed to go into his room, always big trouble), discovering Heart at the age of 12 and still loving it. Ann´s voice is the best ever.
Wow, this is one of the greatest live performances I've EVER heard! At first I thought she was lipsynching, because she sings SO perfectly, but it's all real! What an amazing singer, and equally talented band, of course!! *bows down in utter respect*
Complete perfection at every stop. Drums, Bass, guitars, singers. This is PRO. Before selling to the demographic was more important than quality music.
Ann Wilson has never gotten the credit she deserves as one of the best rock guitar composers of our time..what a shame..if you doubt just replay that intro a few times...I've been playing for 40 years and that was perfection!
one word...class... one of the best female singers bang on the button... big smiles..wish we had more girls rocking out..what about that intro by Nancy...just class...
I saw them a few years ago in NYC. One of the best shows I have ever been to. Nancy is an awesome guitar player, let alone that she is so beautiful. The two of the sisters are beautiful. I don't think rock will ever see another vocalist like Ann Wilson.
used to play this song everytime on the JUKEBOX when i went to my parents' tavern/pizza restaurant when i was a kid.... love it! brings back a tons of memories..... xo
Great to see the original line up. As a boy, it was Nancy Wilson who inspired me to play guitar. I was SO in love...I live near Seattle, and Ann and Nancy play quite a bit here in small venues as the Love Mongers..Great Stuff.
Ann's voice is even better now. I can't believe they still aren't in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Nancy is one of the best guitarists I have ever seen. Try and play that song and you will realize just how good she is.
I love this band! Ann is my favorite singer of all time! She has an amazing vocal range and she sings with pure complete soul. Nancy is an amazing guitar player and singer. I had a chance to see them perform about a year ago and they blew my mind! HEART seriously rocks! : )
This song always reminds me of driving to Florida for Spring Break with the windows down and the stereo cranked up, with no cares in the world...Great song!!
Omg, this is the best I have heard her sing this, her voice was perfect, power projection and hits all the notes, fluff head said it spot on,who doesn't love Ann or Nancy? I wish she was going crazy on me right now.
Saw them in Greensboro Coliseum in NC 1978. What a display of Power. Ann favored my girlfriend at the time so much it wasn't funny. No wonder I loved her so much and still to this day. Miss you Debbie.
Two very, very talented sisters. There is so little of this kind of creativity and power in modern music, I'm hoping it will make a comeback eventually.
I was in the Army stationed at Fort Carson, Colorado when I discovered Heart. I still go back there whenever I hear them sing. Still think that Ann has the sexiest voice I have ever heard.
Ah, the true essence of Rock & Roll. The syntax of the song is delivered by Ann with immeasurably intense passion. The instruments are played with the same fanatic vigor one would find in a athlete competing in the final event on the last day of the Olympics. And as a extra bonus part of the verses in this song seem as if they were conjured up by some world renowned 14th century poet. Excellent stuff. Thanks for posting.
PURE UNBRIDLED PASSION......AWESOME PERFORMANCE BY ALL THE BAND MEMBERS. They just don't play naturally with feel & passion like this anymore...never again......
Ann Wilson is right there with the greatest when it comes lead vocals. Nancy Wilson's composition in this song is perfect. Obviously, Jimmy Page was her mentor. Heart is like the female version of Led Zeppelin.
Man... I keep comin back to the Heart videos....such a flashback/rush. This is what I saw exactly. I was 16 in 1976...fall of my jr. in high school. Heart opened then Head East then BTO. Love that time period more now then ever. Fun times Tim
The synergy of how they work together is the key to their sound. The guitars and drums speak right along with Ann. I listen to this often and it never gets old. Love it.
another beautiful gem from the 1970s. we just never realized how good we had it back then. i've combed these u-tube strings and decided without a doubt that the live stuff is the best. and how about two gals making such powerful music like this. is that wonderful and sexy or what? you would almost give it all to have the 70s back again for just a week. God bless the that decade. i'm so glad i was there!!!
They were both smoking hot back in the day. I saw them in concert 31 years ago and I was leaning on the edge of the stage. So close I could have reached out and touched them. Awesome in concert!
Unmatched... there's NEVER been a woman before OR since with a voice this clear and powerful! Some may say Annie Lennox or Chrissie Hynde... both great singers, but no one, NO ONE can sing like this!!! Ann Wilson IS rock royalty!
Damn, I used to sit in my older sisters room and listen to all these great records as kid, maybe 5-6 years old? I went into hardcore punk but still love these classics!
I've been a fan forever and I'm still speechless!! God bless the crazy talent those sisters give out... unbelievable to this day. Great band.. God bless the 70s..
2right4words Heart is somewhat inspired by the Moody Blues, actually. Crazy on You for certain. Listen to the opening strumming pattern after the intro. Nancy Wilson has said that was inspired by Justin Hayward's strumming pattern on Question. It's slower on Crazy on You and in a different chord progression, but it's almost the exact same rhythm pattern. So, that in addition to the mellotron and vocal harmonies indeed makes it Moody inspired. The A minor G Major F major progression here, on the other hand, is confirmed to be a Zeppelin influence.
Wilhelm Orangenbaum I am aware of that. The reason for my comment was to point out more the source of the Moody Blues sound, as less people would know the influence of Question specifically on this song than they would the Zeppelin ones. Sadly, The Moody Blues didn't get as much publicity as they should have and are far underrated -so not everyone knows them.
Wilhelm Orangenbaum I'd say it's because anyone who didn't know them at the time before the first breakup (60s and 70s while they still had Mike Pinder), people didn't know what they truly were. Radio stations and record companies tend to determine what gets airplay, and on terrestrial radio that everyone has access to, not only are they not often played, but the older, good prog material is generally left out. The best of what one will hear on most radio stations that play them is from Long Distance Voyager. And while Moraz did a good job, it really didn't capture the definitive prog sound. Then the legacy of the Moodies as a solid prog band got tarnished a lot when they went commercial and focused more on a pop driven sound. All their notable music videos are from that era, so they'd be best known for that stage instead of where they were best. A true shame.
Never mind that these women have done more for the music industry by their sponsorship in their studio than most artists ever do. Never mind that with a career spanning 4 decades, they're still playing and touring with the same love for music and powerful performances that they had starting out. This song gives me the same goosebumps it did 35 years ago. Screw the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame - I have my own hall of fame and these ladies are right up there near the top of the list in it.
I just had the AWESOME privilage of seeing "HEART" in concert, in Tampa, Fl. THEY WERE FREAKIN' AMAZING...They still have it, neither one has lost their TALENT!! ANNE can still "KICK ASS" with her vocals and NANCY on the guitar!! We had a Great Time and the girls were Fantastic!!
Thanks for posting. Love this. They are still going strong today! Can't wait to see them in Mattaw Ontario on July 22/10. Tickets are only 20. all proceeds go to The Canadian Cancer Society. To meet them would be a real dream come true!!
She looks like a princess but pierces the air with the cries of a wild woman
Ann's voice - the best in rock and roll! Watch Nancy get after it on the guitar - wow - I can't move my hands that fast...
Nothing sounds like an Ovation acoustic, bravo Nancy!!!
One of the BEST acoustic intro's EVER!!! This song is a true classic.
Saw them at Cobo Hall in Detroit. Still remember the incredible energy! They had great legs too.
The 70's was the best of times.
One of the best screams in a song ever !!
Ann has such a powerful voice. She knocks me out.
These 70's chick are the best! I was 15 when this came out and I was hooked! Smoked alot of herb and made out alot to Heart, especially "Magic Man"! The 70's were as awesome as any decade could be and I wouldn't trade growing up in that era to any!!!!
Nancy's acoustic solo at the begining of Crazy On You is a joy to behold. Ann and Nancy the two best female performers in Rock.
Nancy Wilson is amazing in her first minute.... And Ann's voice is always so powerful!
Have loved Ann Wilson for 35 years now.WHAT A VOICE!
why cant music be this good anymore?
One of greatest band of all times, also greatest sisters in music ever !
I was born in 1975 . I was listening to my big brother´s music (I was not allowed to go into his room, always big trouble), discovering Heart at the age of 12 and still loving it. Ann´s voice is the best ever.

*bows down in utter respect*
That intro slayed me. What a performance, sooo bad ass!!!
I never knew Nancy was doing the intro to this. She's a better guitarist than I gave her credit for. Kick ass intro!
I'm 3 weeks away from 54 and stillin love with Ann...fantastic video
i get choke up everytime i see this...take me back to the 70's please!
I actually want to cry!!
Ann's voice always gives me the chills... she's simply awesome!
Complete perfection at every stop.
Drums, Bass, guitars, singers.

Damn this has got to be the best quality version of this on youtube. Nancy kills the intro. Instantly added this to my "magnificent music" playlist!
Holy shit.. That intro was ridiculous... I really got goosebumps lol.
Anne and Nancy Wilson were so freakin' beautiful in the 70's!
one word...class... one of the best female singers bang on the button... big smiles..wish we had more girls rocking out..what about that intro by Nancy...just class...
Ahhhhh, loved Heart so much back in the day... this was one of my favorite songs by them.
Love this band and the Wilson Sisters. I have their albums
I saw them a few years ago in NYC. One of the best shows I have ever been to. Nancy is an awesome guitar player, let alone that she is so beautiful. The two of the sisters are beautiful. I don't think rock will ever see another vocalist like Ann Wilson.
used to play this song everytime on the JUKEBOX when i went to my parents' tavern/pizza restaurant when i was a kid.... love it! brings back a tons of memories..... xo
Time marches on, but she still sounds exactly like that
Amazing voice
Great to see the original line up. As a boy, it was Nancy Wilson who inspired me to play guitar. I was SO in love...I live near Seattle, and Ann and Nancy play quite a bit here in small venues as the Love Mongers..Great Stuff.

Live classic rock perfection from Heart !!! Great stuff !!!
This song always reminds me of driving to Florida for Spring Break with the windows down and the stereo cranked up, with no cares in the world...Great song!!
Holy badass mothers. This is just badass.
Ann Wilson just crushes it. Then and now. What a set'o'pipes. It was a pleasure to see 'em in the R&R Hall of Fame......finally.
Her voice gives me goosebumps.
Omg, this is the best I have heard her sing this, her voice was perfect, power projection and hits all the notes, fluff head said it spot on,who doesn't love Ann or Nancy? I wish she was going crazy on me right now.
Nancy totally OWNS here! WOW! What an incredible musician she is!
I LOVE HEART SO MUCH!
These two women challenge ANYTHING out there today-just amazing they sing, play, and most of all FEEL the music.
Nothing like Heart around today, Wow.
Beautiful Corset the Bass player is wearing. I would like one of those too !!!
Saw them in Greensboro Coliseum in NC 1978. What a display of Power. Ann favored my girlfriend at the time so much it wasn't funny. No wonder I loved her so much and still to this day. Miss you Debbie.
GOD!! Never seen this in my 41 yrs. Fucking outstanding!!! Her voice & beautiful face mesmerize me!!
Two very, very talented sisters. There is so little of this kind of creativity and power in modern music, I'm hoping it will make a comeback eventually.
The lead singing was so beautiful,
Why couldn't i been around when she was still young lol
I was in the Army stationed at Fort Carson, Colorado when I discovered Heart. I still go back there whenever I hear them sing. Still think that Ann has the sexiest voice I have ever heard.
Ah, the true essence of Rock & Roll. The syntax of the song is delivered by Ann with immeasurably intense passion. One Of The Best licks of 70's, memories flooded in on me, I was not expecting the total memory recall of '76
My favorite Heart song.
Ann wearing that choker........... priceless! AWESOME!
Blessed are the artists
PURE UNBRIDLED PASSION......AWESOME PERFORMANCE BY ALL THE BAND MEMBERS. They just don't play naturally with feel & passion like this anymore...never again......
Ann Wilson is right there with the greatest when it comes lead vocals. Nancy Wilson's composition in this song is perfect. Obviously, Jimmy Page was her mentor. Heart is like the female version of Led Zeppelin.
It gives me goose bumps too! Wow..what an awesome acoustic intros! Nancy can play the hell out of any acoustic!
how sweet it is...
Man... I keep comin back to the Heart videos....such a flashback/rush. This is what I saw exactly. I was 16 in 1976...fall of my jr. in high school. Heart opened then Head East then BTO. Love that time period more now then ever. Fun times
Tim
This line up needs a reunion tour bring the boys back
The synergy of how they work together is the key to their sound. The guitars and drums speak right along with Ann. I listen to this often and it never gets old. Love it.
Ann and Nancy look like they just got out of church and what is up with the bass player--is that a bustier?!!! But, wth, no matter, they RAWKED.
They were sexy, and classy at the same time. No need to make vulgar exhibitions, like many women do today.
another beautiful gem from the 1970s. we just never realized how good we had it back then. i've combed these u-tube strings and decided without a doubt that the live stuff is the best. and how about two gals making such powerful music like this. is that wonderful and sexy or what? you would almost give it all to have the 70s back again for just a week. God bless the that decade. i'm so glad i was there!!!
this is the best version of crazy on you....the version on their album isn't as good as this live performance

Ann sings her guts out in this performance.
Damn, I used to sit in my older sisters room and listen to all these great records as kid, maybe 5-6 years old? I went into hardcore punk but still love these classics!

SUZI QUATRO broke the glass ceiling for The Runaways & Heart.
SUZI QUATRO is the QUEEN of ROCK!!!!!!!!!!

Darrel Eddings - Incredible vocals. Not many can sing like that. You’re a moron.
Thanks for the Post, they played at our junior high school dance in 1975. great memories
Is that Michael DeRosier on drums?
It sure is Derosier on the kit.
The wilson sisters have always held high respect for me and my daughters even now...my oldest daughter's fav. heart song is "Alone"mine as well

I've been a fan forever and I'm still speechless!! God bless the crazy talent those sisters give out... unbelievable to this day. Great band.. God bless the 70s..

Yeah, I saw them in Portland, Maine when I was..hmmm, young. Blew the house down. I still remember the dresses Ann and Nancy wore. Amazing talent.
WOW she is so mean at 3:30
And 4:56 ;)
These two girls showed us incredible music, elevated rock to a new level
Never mind that these women have done more for the music industry by their sponsorship in their studio than most artists ever do. Saw them play this last night.
Never saw them live before.
They are much more powerful in concert than they ever were on record. They really rock!

I was raised with this music....i learned to ROCK before i could walk or talk!!!!
wow greatest guitar player love the intro!! and best singer in the world!!
love heart!!
Saw them about 10 rows back in San Diego around '86, one of the best concerts ever!
That sick guitar intro... oh my God beautiful. I agree completely Northwest girls hail from Seattle. Peace from Vancouver BC.
Girls got some pipes! Wish I could belt it out like that!
I get shivers every time I see that. Sh'e just exceptional!
Dear lord, that wild intensity brings tears to my eyes!!
Absolutely amazing
Heart is amazing. musicianship, vocals, style - they got it goin.
Ann is sounds so good and is so pretty, it hurts❤️
Possibly my first show as a kid, 1976 in the old Egyptian Theatre in DeKalb, Illinois. I thought the roof was going to fall in.... loved it!
This live performance is amazing, perfect voice with great musicians!
Ann, please go crazy on me!
Her voice is off the charts!!!
