Wonderful channel. I am 71. When I went to high school, pattern drafting was taught in Home Economics - Food and Fashion Classes. I still remember making a fulling tailored suit jacket in class and the fully lined skirt at home. Only I had put the fabric wrong side out on the one. So, I spent 4 full days taking every stitch out of the skirt and redoing it with the other side out. My mom even let me stay home from school for 2 days to work on fixing it. Our teacher was a tyrant. We were all scared spitless of her. I managed to pull it off without her being able to tell. Where I live very few people wear such structured clothing. But, I sure miss doing that kind of detail.

I'm so happy I found your channel. I love sewing so much. I went to school for Fashion Design, but I couldn't finish because I lost my job, which made me very sad and had to drop out of school. So I wasn't able to learn as much as I wanted. So thank you for your awesome videos. I love that you show the step by steps of drafting patterns by using your dress form. I hadn't learned that yet. You make the process a lot easier to do.
