With the brass shells you can sometimes fit the bottom ones to the top if oil holes work out and the top one is usually the one that has copped a pounding over the years. Shim adjustable is a good thing as well. Its coming along well.
They are different top to bottom. The top has a groove for oil distribution and the bottom just has the hole for the splash feed. So probably not ideal to swap them. But there was still plenty of white metal on them, so came up nice with just a clean. Thanks, I’m really happy with it. Still a lot to do, but the engine is coming together nicely.

Yes. I think it came up really well. Just got to get the rocker gear all freed up, or maybe use the rockets off the other tractor.
