😢your star blocks are beautiful, i love watching how you use color, its different from what id pick but always looks AMAZING! Thank you for sharing with us, i always learn something and always look so forward to your videos. Your jolly bar quilt is going to be gorgeous👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
When I first saw your flying geese come out - I was like oh no - the head of the goose is going to clip - but I went to my book and looked- that was a deliberate choice on this block - that makes this one super forgiving! I find those points (they're on the interior square of this block) are one of the places I struggle getting "perfect" on blocks - so not having to worry about that - and the lack of bulk on that junction for this block really makes this not as hard as it looks! I love how the Kaffe is just showcasing in these blocks - what a fun way to use those fat quarters.
Yes! I think for the sake of being able to use a jolly bar, the patterned allowed for it. But I did notice that too and said…uh oh…did I do that wrong? 😄
Nice block, so pronounced! Love you color choices!❤ It's not always ideal to sew a block with seams down on feed dogs but I will do this if I have a tiny difference between top and bottom so that the longer one is on the bottom .. the feed dogs almost always pulls it at a different rate than the top taking up the difference. Have a great day, see you for finish it Friday.😊
