Great review. I have one, spot on observations and advice.🙏😎🤘
Great review Andy.... puts my Nepal 65 to shame 🤣
Thanks for another great review.
I have both the Aether AG 70, the old style Exos 58 and the Exos 48.
The Volt looks like the Aether except for the back system and the separately accessible sleeping bag compartment that the Aether has.
You look like a well loved child on his first day of a new school term.
WTF I’m 43, how old are you?!?!
Looks similar to my OEX V70 but better interior material might just have to have a look 👀 at this
Great review Andy thanks for sharing
Looks a great rucksack Andy. Good advice on not overloading it though 😊
Great review Andy, I do love how you can open it right up to access gear at the bottom of the bag. I have a Rook and my main complaint is that it develops a loud squeak with loads over 10kgs. Ive used the loops to lash some bugee cord through, and use it for hanging my socks, gaiters on to dry. You could do the same with the Volt.
Wow what a great bag I've just picked up a rook 65 and I can see these are very similar I like that u zip that's brilliant . And the other small features like the under lid pocket and sliding chest strap .the airscape back is harder wearing than the airspeed so this would make a better world traveling bag ideal if your going to live out of it for a year or so .I think that's why osprey omit the rear stuff pocket ,too easily damaged in transit - busses airports etc
Cheers
Love my Rook and very versatile
Hi Andy - great review thanks!
I am looking to get into backpacking and wondered what your advice would be for increasing fitness and hiking strength? I’ve done a lot of walking and some mountain hikes but not with heavy weight on the back. What’s the best way to ‘accustom’ my body to this?
Once again thanks - massive fan of you and the channel!
The main difference is walking uphill with weight. It’s harder, so you may find yourself taking longer and stopping every now and then for a breather. It’s hard to train for.
hey Andy, ace review looks cool, what do you think of the Rab muon 50? I've been looking at getting one for wild camping, Thanks!
I haven’t seen it yet, I’ll take a look 👀
Hi Andy, thanks for reviewing this, would be good for travel where you don’t mind it taking a bit of abuse during transport, probably also good for DofE
Anyone have a contact for the light tour mat?plz
I looked at Osprey but ended up getting a Durston Kakwa 55. I also somehow wasn't charged import tax which was surprising.
