Thanks for this video. Answered a lot of my questions. I live in Thailand and keep only some white Campbell ducks as pets and for eggs, and fancy bantam chickens, as well as tropical songbirds. I plan to move to Ireland in about a year and my dream to is to buy a rural property and dig a few ponds to start keeping ornamental waterfowl. It has been a dream of mine since I was young after going to bird gardens and zoos and being captivated watching the ducks swimming and behaviour, and being stunned by their colours and patterns. I have subscribed to your channel. Just wanted to add that I dont like the look of waterfowl with pinioned wings as they look like part of the wing is chopped off, and looks ugly when they spread their wings out to stretch or display.
We don't like pinioned wings either and keep our birds full winged. When having to transport them, such as to swap meets or a customer, we pull some feathers so they can't accidentally fly off. The feathers then grow back in about a month. Thank you for your comment. Wishing you the best in your endeavors.
Didn't think eney one was out there like me eney more thanks 👍 don't care for the silver wood duck but that's where the money at😊 didn't know about the backle teal flying pattern enjoying this
Thanks for sharing... I am from Indonesia, 2 months ago I bought a couple of ringnecks. I want to be pheasant breeder like you. My rooster barely has that white feathers around his neck, how old does a rooster start having that ring? Btw, may I buy your golden pheasant's eggs? Thank you.
Good answers to good questions. Thank you.
