It’s the only song Taylor didn’t write completely on her own. It was super important to her that this album was a completely “written by Taylor only” one. Which is why she released the Taylor’s Version of that song at the same time she released All of the Girls You Loved Before (essentially a ‘Lover’ vault track). Anyways - If This Was a Movie was categorized as a ‘Fearless Taylor’s Version’ track, as you can see the single has the Fearless TV album cover. Yes, it’s a bit weird and not correct buttt it makes sense why she did it. Hope that helps lol :)
