To go along with John's answer, I think one of the best things to do is to help walk somebody through a situation so that they can end up making their own decision. That way it's not so much advice giving as it is helping them see each angle and pointing out different parts of a situation they might be blind to.
(slight spoilers) At 12:39, they didn't score-the ball went past the side of the goal, then bounced off the boards into the back of the net, making it seem like they scored, but they didn't.
I had a psychology teacher that always told us to stop trying to fix people’s problems. That if somebody comes looking for answers stop giving them ask them questions to make them figure it out for themselves.
"That one guy is so disappointed he just put his fingers inside of his head, which is...an extreme reaction to the situation." ~John Green, 2019 Gosh, I haven't laughed that hard in a while.
John, your play is getting better as always. However, don't shoot outside the box or near it. That seems the biggest weakness right now. Solid rotations. Good work.
I find one or two bits of advice that work for most situations and then reuse the same advice. For example, talking through the pros and cons of each option is nearly always helpful.
John seems pretty grim for the situation. His team, though it features some stars, should be nowhere near the top of the table. Even if Leicester City wins, he'll stay in second. All you can hope for now is that Chelsea whiffs as well and you come out strong with your starters next game. Oh, also, one of the best things you can do if you don't feel you have good advice to give (and that's all anyone can really do for someone who needs advice, anyway) is to be empathetic. I'm sure whoever needs advice is distraught or frustrated, and maybe some conversation between people can help them work through it. At the very least, it can help someone feel less alone in a time of staggering confidence.
right now John's only solving problems that were sent as a perk for donating to the project for awesome. you can donate to have your problem solved when the p4a returns in december

Great that you pointed it out! John thought he gave up a goal and somehow the game ended with 0-0.

I love this series
Gotta play your starters or they'll start complaining about playing time!
Is it just me, or have the referees totally stopped calling fouls lately?
Wait! What was the score?!?!
How do I get a problem responded to?
