Glad Fluval sponsored you in this video but before clicking your upload, thought you were going to use glass lily pipes but since it’s a rimmed tank, makes total sense. I recently purchased an FX6 and have been frustrated trying to get parts in the US at my local hardware stores and Amazon to connect their 1” tubes with the standard 5/8” (16/22) Hydor in-line heater as well as 5/8” glass lily pipes. 1” to 5/8” barbed fitting for drinking water is too hard to find so I have resorted to many different sized parts. Wish Fluval sold an adapter. I understand glass lily pipes in the US are not as common here than in Europe but in-line water heater should be.
What hose did you use? If you have any thoughts or helpful info really appreciate it , I also am running a 307 , 107 & a Supreme EZ CLEAN HOB on my 40 B.. There are so many Bronze Cory cats in there , I wont't know the # until I need to move them all into the last tank where they can be w/ the rest of the family !!! Just love the little guys & the description that they are freshwater Hummingbirds of the aquariums 💙💚
@@stoneysscapes7544 you need to use 5/8 inner diameter, 7/8 outer diameter. Home Depot in the US sells it but for me being in Canada I had to buy it at a local irrigation supply store. Once you get it home boil it in water to make it more flexible. Also you need to taper the ends with a knife or sand paper so the fluval lock collars can tighten over it.
too bad they don't make also a inline CO2 diffuser and a in line heater for the FX4-FX6. FLUVAL WAKE-UP!!! I wrote them to inquire why not ...maybe if enough of us do they willl
Hope you are going to regret buying Fx pumps - I have had both Fx6 and Fx4 and they are SO NOISY - Only solution that worked for me - Noise cancelling headphones😱😱😱
Water change outlet on the filter; BRILLIANT, especially for a tank that size!! Can't wait to see it up and running!
The water change outlet is Genius!
02:30 was great! :D Nice vid buddy. Well played :)
This filter is so smart!! Thanks for the unboxing. I've never seen a filter like this!
I see what you’re doing in the thumbnail😎💪🏼
This tank is going to be phenomenal 💯

It's really amazing scale! Thank U for unboxing. I'am really expecting next video
I have to confess.. i felt a little jealous with my sunsun.. great canister!!! So many practical details..
If this filter was a mobile game ad, it would be the level 100.
great my friend 👍👍👍
Wow, a huge basket 😄💪🏻
When will you post another part of this tank
when are you gonna show this tank, i cant wait already master the fiinish ver of it
Great huge filter 👍🏻
Where is the water? Can't wait to see it complete! This series 🔥💯
WAITING FOR NEXT VIDEO
How long does it take to finish this project?
How loud do you think is going to be? Looks great so far..
Unfortunately I don't know yet, but I'll keep you posted!
Epic!!
Dying to know how this large tank project has progressed. Ages now.
It's a very expensive project, so I'm putting it on hold for a while. I might do the hardscape soon, but I might also sell the whole thing.
You are too good at filming
Awsome
That arm thoo?!??!😲😲😲
Instead of lava rock, use pumice instead. It has more surface area for bacteria
The fx6 is huge! But not the trays witch only holds about 5kg of bio. not that super impressive compared to other filters
nice
As much as I love this filter, I went with two 407s instead because I want to use lily pipes.

Why this huge filter is "cheap" ? cheaper than a biomaster 600
Who needs the manual? 😂
Better to build your own sump.
