The virtuous performance and the theatrical quality gives me a tiny flashback into Chinese history, almost a feeling of being there for a few moments, it feels wonderful.
I learned some time ago that Chinese musicians express the music through their body language as well as the instrument. This is a perfect example.
I don't think this is limited to Chinese musicians or any musicians at all. Beside the fact that ur body movement affect the sound and smoothness, it is also a form of expression, in all kinds of music. Guess that's why rockers need to bang their head u know.
This song would make me the happiest drunkard ever :P

I just listened to it again. They understand one another's timing and mood to perfection.
And could somebody help me out with pronunciation. According to my information, zhongruan should be pronounced dron-groo-ahn, and guzheng is pronounced goo-drung. Is that correct?

Is the name of this piece "The Drunkard", or "Drunken Madness"? I've seen it labeled as both.
This is so good. Do you gals listen to John Fahey? or Six Organs of Admittance? This reminds me a lot of their guitar playing.
Will you guys be coming to Taiwan any time soon? Also it would be lovely to hear some more interpretations of 古琴 classics.
