  • This was a great workout we did here to get the group going before we hit the weights. Spikes their heart rate up, prepares their body/core for the workout and will help reduce injuries.
Pick any drills you want for the pyramid!!!

AXFIT.COM It was great realy had fun with it and so did my clients. I used sandbags in this so as to make it extra tuff. one end of the run lower body work other end upper body work and always pushing for sprint speed and good form. For example we used sandbag squats at one end chest to floor push ups at another. then side lunges with sandbag and then I call it the cyclon with sandbag,( sandbag is at your right foot you lift the bag it comes across the front of your body round your head to the back and then to the front across the body and comes to rest at your left foot.) front lunges with sandbag opposit end over head press. Rear lunge yup with sandbag and then bent over rows. As they were running they must take there sandbag with them realy tells on the arms. We did this for 40 mins we did have a 15 min warm up and a 10 min cool down with streches.

Is this intensity proper for 7-10 yr. Olds? I have them doing similar workouts, but just wondering if this pyramid workout would be too much, or is it perfect?

Thank you for all these videos. I have been super inspired by them. So inspired I realized running bootcamps and training at the private gym I am at now is becoming too routine and I realized I can do this on my own. I am starting my own outdoor group training in May and I am super nervous but excited. My question to you is, would you have any recommendations for the FIRST session? I am struggling on if I should make it so it is more of team bonding workout so people get to know each other, make it more on the challenging side, or keep it more mellow. Your advice would be soo appreciated.

Hey Brittni's Book Find, thank you for the comment. Yes if you have the drive and passion for it then you have to do it on your own. It's the best way to go. I left the gym 9 years ago and it was hard to do but the best thing I ever did. It can be tough at times, clients aren't just walking in the gym door all day so you have to continue to market and spread the world every day! Lots of instagram, facebook post, local adds, etc,
So my advice for your first session is to make it tough!! People want a hard workout and if you don't show them what you got from day one they may not return. Of course have some modification for beginner levels and what not but go hard. I find some people aren't really into partner drills or team bonding right away.. as your group come out a few times and after a couple sessions then do a fun bonding type drills with them. Maybe with points and prizes or something. I have some 3 hour Bootcamp/Bonding exercise videos on my channel check them out for some ideas.
If you want why don't you email me what you have planned for your first session, I can take a look at it and give you my advice. adrenalinefit@gmail.com
Have fun with it, are you at a park with a hill or any steps..playground or other elements you can use?
