My 12 yo son got $100 from his uncle the other day and he begged and begged me to let him buy me an espresso machine that I've wanted for so long! He also got me a bag of blonde espresso and vanilla syrup from Starbucks. 😊 So this morning I made my own Starbucks Ice vanilla blonde latte with oat milk at home! 😊😊

@@Katemio I didn't think it was Sophia but wasn't sure tbh as it seems odd to decide to make something you don't use (you might make colours or patterns of whatever it is that you wouldn't use but not usually the item itself). However, textiles and book binding are not two completely different crafts, there is definitely some overlap so who knows.
I do this with my sister in law too. I go over to her house all the time with my sketchbook and doodle while we hang out. Sometimes she joins me since she's arty as well, and sometimes she does paperwork or house work while i doodle. Its relaxing and it gives me something to do with my hands while we talk.
I’m thankful for Mira and all the artists and creatives I’ve come to know through TH-cam
I’ll end up having a full conversation here with them if I comment all my little thoughts
But I have to say I can totally see that SIL is enjoying the coffe buzz and she’s much more chatty in this video than others.

I make it with 2 Hershey bars and 16 ounces of skim milk heated in the microwave. 🍫 Makes the cold days warmer!! 🥶

My matcha latte isn't as festive but I was copying and trimming Christmas colouring pages I made for my nieces so your background festive creativity set the mood!
I had the hot gingerbread oatmilk Chai latte yesterday and that is definitely the way to go. The flavor was strong in the best way and was a perfect start to morning.
We have a coffee chain in the UK called Costa Coffee and every Christmas they do a gingerbread latte that is absolutely gorgeous! I look forward to it every year. Unfortunately there are only 4 locations in the USA but if you find one, definitely check it out!
Maybe the peppermint one tasted worse because you drank it after the caramel one which was really sweet? Like when you have a mouthful of orange juice after you brush your teeth and it tastes horrible, but the other way around?

I've been watching all these fun holiday videos while working on a cat cross-stitch for my grandmother's Christmas present. It's given me something fun to watch while I put time into making a gift.

However I will drink Peppermint Mocha all year long. I LOOOOOVE mint and must have it be the dominant flavor when I get one. I also love to stock up on Peppermint candies to toss into hot chocolate during this time of year. It's sooooo good.

Chestnut praline is one of my favorites! I’m not sure why jr tastes watery to y’all?! Either I didn’t notice it ever or they gave you a watery one somehow. Lol time to go test for myself again this holiday season 😅😋
My husband and I tried it and we both had a hard time recognizing the flavor. I think it’s just a really subtle flavor compared to some of their other ones. I didn’t think it was gross, just not as strong as what I’m used to.
Sophia, the best way to order a Peppermint mocha is to ask for 1/2 the flavor shots...perfection!

Mira, Sophia, I loved both your drawings! Sophia, please, don't compare yourself to Mira, or anyone else! Allow yourself to enjoy doing what you enjoy, and it will begin to develop its own way that's uniquely yours. Kudos to you for asking for help, though. That'll encourage a lot of others not to be afraid of doing the same!
Mira, are you able to do something about the sound on these duo videos, please? I find that I'm needing the subtitles a lot of the time (I also need to watch carefully to see which of you is talking, cos sometimes you sound so alike! ) Your drawing would make a lovely sticker, and I think that Sophia's would make a lovely print, too. You are both refreshingly different from so many YT artists these days!

Okay you asked for a funny caffeine story: I overdosed on caffeine… 😭😅
I used to get Starbucks teas and whatnot that contain something like 10g of caffeine, and I always felt super sick after even drinking half. (Absolutely ridiculous lol.) So I was aware caffeine and me just didn’t mix well and I clearly had an allergy/intolerance to it.
Flash forward one night at home I really wanted something to drink other than water and we didn’t have anything, so I searched the cupboards and found a mix-in drink of my bfs. (The flavored powder stuff you put it water to make it taste good!) So I mixed it in and drank away!
Later that night I started feeling reallllllly bad. Turns out, it was a highly caffeinated energy drink like 200g!!!!! (Keeping in mind I get sick off of 5g.) I had no idea I thought it was just flavoring. I couldn’t breathe, my chest hurt, my vision was flashing rapidly black and bright, I was sweating, panicking, dizzy, and so much more- it was insane and sooo scary!!
I will never be drinking any caffeine again. 😅 And hopefully never make a mistake like that again! LOL!

In Australia we rarely get fun flavours like you guys, but last year zarraffas did an orange mocha range and omg that was amazing. I was so sad it was only for a limited time 😅

My caffeine story is that now I am trying to reduce it at a second half of the day and choose herbal teas instead. When I started doing that my insomnia left me.
I usually drink jumbo cups of strong black tea, so I definitely am over the limit of daily caffeine dose.

When I used to work 12 hour shifts 6 days a week and an 8 hour shift on the 6th day over summer I would have a half shot of coffee, 4 teaspoons of sugar, 2 teaspoons of hot choc mix and 3 squeezes of chocolate syrup (I hate the taste of coffee haha) and Id drink it with a mother and id be so filled with energy for the 6 days that id be doing everyone elses jobs. I was learning to be a short order cook but could do prep, make burgers, wash up and do the til. Boy oh boy! Hahaha I was soooooo energetic.

This video was great I love the idea of art inspired by the holiday season drinks. Definitely should make another based on non holiday themed drinks. But I’d really enjoy more holiday themed inspired art first during the holidays and up to the end of year. Great content especially if you need to prerecord anything. Looking forward to seeing more hopefully

My favorite drink would have to be hot apple cider, or some home made hot chocolate when I'm off work and can chill out with my family. My toddler loves when mommy makes "fancy" hot chocolate with all the sprinkles and fun shaped marshmallows

BTW, the caramel brulee latte is my favorite out of ALL the Starbucks drinks. Maybe it's because it's a limited-time holiday drink. ❤🎄🎅

I don’t know where you’re located, but my favorite place to go is Dutch Bros. I get their snow drop freeze and the hazelnut truffle.
I enjoyed the gingerbread oat milk chai better as a hot drink than the standard iced.
If they have dunkin donuts where you live you should do this again and try drinks from there!
The Chia is my favorite and much better if you get light ice. Also if you didn't know the flavor is different with the hot and Frappuccino. I also is not a peppermint mocha person. Unfortunately caffeine does nothing to me. We have a local shop that has a fall latte, it is apple cider with a Cinnamon stuck and an orange slice and it is soooo yummy.

I find you can order the same drink on two different days and it can be wildly different. Kind of depends who made it that day. I feel like I would like the gingerbread iced oat latte.
If you try the peppermint mocha one again I’ve found I like to get two pumps peppermint and 2 pumps of the mocha and it taste much better just mix it when you get home cuz all the chocolate is in the bottom. So fun!

Hello! Louisiana subscriber here! Praline doesn’t really taste nutty but it does usually have walnuts in it. (There are some versions without walnuts) it mostly just tastes really really sweet and sugary. It’s good but very sweet.

Until last week- I have never had Starbucks anywhere near me (im in Australia) one opened up literally 5mins away, me and my kids were pretty excited to try it, I tried the gingerbread latte, I was very underwhelmed, i couldn't taste coffee at all, or any ginger.
I think ill stick to our little local cafes 😂
Us Aussies have a connoisseur taste for our coffee's that's apparently why Starbucks has never really taken off over here except for teenagers & instagramers .

I don’t care for flavored coffee anymore because they taste artificial and sometimes perfume like. But, I wish I could drink a medium to dark coffee with a little oat milk all day long!

I feel like caffeine have no effect on me, there were times when I needed to finish something for college late at night so I took caffeine pills with matte tea (it has more caffeine than coffee) and still seleept like a baby, I think the only things that can keep me awake are things in my mind and not anything around me
