Though not a "professional" solution, a Jetson Nano with BELABOX software, external batteries, while easily using 6 modems, does the job well. At a tiny fraction of the price
crazy cool. is it simulcasting a lower resolution to the Telus and Bell connections? or truly bonding such that the full resolution stream would seamlessly continue if Rogers lost connection unexpectedly?
Yes! It's truly bonding and blending all the available connections. Each connection is a pathway back to the Waypoint server. Data packets are divided up and distributed over all the connection pathways. If Rogers was to drop off suddenly there would be no noticeable loss in the video broadcast as the other pathways would quickly pickup the slack.
nice but when you're in a rural area and LTE/4G reception is just really bad because there is only one tower or the network is totally congested, then it's probably not going to work. Then you will still need a SNG truck or one of those portable sets you've shown.
Any type of SIM that provides data will work. There is a subscription for the use of Dejero Control, but that is only needed if you have many EnGo's and Waypoints for managing their assignments. A single EnGo paired with a Waypoint would not require Control.
I'd like to see a full datacentre tour
That was incredibly helpful! Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
I remember this from your Hi-Boost video! Very cool to see this in action again.
I remember you too, from Singapore !
@@peterfairlie2296 Glad to leave an impression!
When I come to visit Singapore we can meet up.
@@peterfairlie2296 Haha, lets see
While not in this business, this is cool to see.
Ya Peter has a really cool channel, I thank the Algorithm Gods for bringing me here

Sounds like a LiveU Solo GunRun backpack that some of the vloggers would rig up for cheap.
@@peterfairlie2296It can actually outperform the LiveU products from what I've seen and much cheaper than the Solo too.
Why doesn’t the people on “kick” use this device?
How much electricity does your DC use? Does it run 24\7?
Around $100 a month. A lot of it does run 24/7.

@@peterfairlie2296I have sent you a mail. The Dejero is well explained and better than the Live U system

We use to use VSAT Satellite as backup but in recent years we've been just using Starlink.
1. Is there an ongoing subscription to Dejero? , 2. Do the SIM cards need to be M2M ? Thanks for great demo.

did that thing really just boot into Windows?!
Yes, the EnGo 260 uses Win10 IoT however the newer EnGo 263 runs on Linux.
