@@davidhart7792 So sad that only John & Justin are left doing their own thing. But as Justin said when Graeme died, "without Graeme there's no Moody Blues." or words to that effect. Now we just have music & DVDs. Take care.
Billy knew better than anybody how to sing John and Paul’s songs. You cannot separate Billy’s early recordings of their songs from the Beatles catalogue without that catalogue being complete.
Billy has some lovely deep tones to add to this song which John had too. I think it is a wonderful rich and emotional version and he deserves every bit of goodwill for even attempting it, let alone making such a personal and memorable version of it.
Billy J Kramer was my first schoolgirl crush. We all grow older, wiser and somewhat regretful. I’m still a fan 62 years later. OMG! Now I know why I had to ‘Bum Clutch’ my seat. He’s still a sexy beast to me.❤❤❤❤❤❤
Love so much about this -- the inside look at Abbey Road studios, of you (and band) in the recording booths, and, your style covering this Lennon classic. On constant repeat! ;)
Wonderful to see Billy is still singing as good as ever! I have fond memories if sharing the same stage as him in 1975 when I entered a talent competition as a fifteen year old kid at the "Talk of Yorkshire" nightclub in Bradford. Billy was top of the bill for that evening and I got to meet and chat with him after the show. Such a nice. genuine guy and very encouraging to a young wannabe singer / musician :-)
I’ve been there too.. was a nanny in my younger days..went with a couple and their baby and philharmonic orchestra/ sat in the studio at John Lennon piano because it had air con in there it was very hot weather… lovely memories of you Billy from many moons ago.
Good afternoon, Billy, and that was absolutely amazing!! You’ve still got it in spades; And as has been mentioned by others on here, you cannot think of the Beatles and any reimagining of their songs and their catalog without thinking of the influence and vocal mastery of Billy J Kramer 🎼🎤🎸🥁🎸🎹🎸
WOW, what a great recording session and what a great voice Billy still has! Thanks for this and wonderful to see the inside of this magic studio and the very lucky musicians that play for these stars! Fabulous few minutes here, no doubt!
Glad I found this! Saw Billy as part of a British Invasion tour a few years ago. Had a little chat afterward as part of a meet and greet. Also on the bill Denny Laine, Peter Asher who hosted, Chad and Jeremy, Mike Pender from the Searchers, & Terry Sylvester from the Swingin' Blue Jeans. Great rockin' show from March 2015.
Not having seen a word penned about Billy since the 60s, somehow I'd presumed he'd gone to the great recording studio in the sky years ago. When this video came up I thought it must be some sort of AI-generated thing. I was gobsmacked to see it was the real McCoy, or the real Billy to be more precise. I feel terrible about my faux pas. Great to know the man's still going strong and still in wonderful voice. You rock, Billy. But then, you always did.
How amazing you are my dad has done this would love you to listen to his GEOFF HOLLAND he just said i wonder what you would think he is 82 and loves playing and learning new songs . So enjoyed this sir
I love this song, I love your level up cover version of John Lennon song "Jealous Guy". I love your singing voice, I love the background of your music video and most all I love your live performance. Absolutely beautiful my friend. Your great!! Thank you for sharing. All the best to you. I've subscribed to support your lovely channel.
I see he hasn't lost it, still got that standard he always had. Thenk you from a 70Yr old
And another 👍👏
What a great voice Billy. You really did justice to a great song and lovely to see you performing again.
David, as a huge Moody Blues fan, you may not have realized you paraphrased one of their later hit song titles, "Lovely to See You (again).
Good job!
@@jonrukavina9011 Big Moody Blues fan myself. Actually got to see them at Salford Uni. in about 1969, possibly on a ' Tuesday Afternoon. '

Wow, sounding even better these days! Adored Billy in the 60s, I am 72 now and still music mad. ❤😊
What a good feeling to see Billy J. Kramer again...and singing so beautifully this beautiful song.
What an incredibly powerful, rich and musical voice! Just beautiful.
He’s still alive. Alive like us. What a voice. No more school girl crush. Now a Kindred Spirit.
Loved "Bad To Me" and "Little Children" in the early 60's!
Billy knew better than anybody how to sing John and Paul’s songs. You cannot separate Billy’s early recordings of their songs from the Beatles catalogue without that catalogue being complete.
Eh? What do you actually mean? Apart from the awful grammar this is simply another cover by a Beatles song “part of their catalogue” get real
Billy has some lovely deep tones to add to this song which John had too. I think it is a wonderful rich and emotional version and he deserves every bit of goodwill for even attempting it, let alone making such a personal and memorable version of it.
