Hi there! I have been subscribed for a while. I haven't been watching lately as I have been a bit busy. Last December, my 89yo mother took a fall in her home. No one knew as she lives alone. My oldest brother, had been calling her, and no answer on the phone. He called the police and asked for a wellness check. They had to break in to her home and they found her unconscious on the floor. Her kidney function was non-existant. They were not sure she would survive. Then I get this call from the hospital telling me all of this information. I quickly left my Holiday travels (always during December) and was so lucky to get a hotel room for about two weeks while she was in the hospital. When they transferred her to a recovery home, I came to my home (in another state) and now I am getting my home ready to bring her here, so she can get 24 hour care. I have a room that I am now emptying out (FULL of boxes as I recently moved) and I am now figuring ways to decorate her room. I will be using a lot of these that you just showed us here, so thank you very much! I hope she will be happy here in her own (hopefully) pretty room, created just for her. I want my Mama to be very happy during her last years here on earth. Thank you again for everything you have shown us. I greatly appreciate it! ❤
You are a good soul, taking in your Mom, not only at her age, but in her serious condition. It will be hard sometimes, but to be able to give her the best possible time in her life golden years will make it worthwhile ❤❤❤
You've come a long way baby. I've enjoyed all your videos I've been watching for a long time. I really enjoy your videos with your mom hope she comes on again. Your personality plus too I just love watching your videos keep doing what you're doing Jamie.🙏😇❤️
Some very cool ideas, thank you! You mentioned keeping the centre of the beach basket for other ideas-one such might be a reusable gift/ tall bottle bag made with some "Moroccan-Style Tile Placemats" in colours that would complement those navy basket handles in your video, as well as other supplies (all found on Dollar Tree's website). Needed: the remnant of the beach bag (as seen in the video), 2 placemats, wide ribbon (such as their "Floral Garden Lacey Burlap Ribbon"), felt, cord (jute, yarn, etc), and glue 1. Secure the placemats to the outside of the frame using glue (lengthwise around the frame), joining the short edges together with cord (and more glue if needed). If the mats do not stretch completely from top to bottom, centre them between the two-the difference can be masked during the last step. 2. With the felt, wrap the (outside) bottom of the bag and then line the inside. You can either make a tube around the inside with a separate piece to cover the (inside) bottom, or lay it from handle to handle with seams along each side-play around with it until you're happy with the look, then glue it down. Use some cord to whip or blanket stitch the top of the felt to the top of the basket frame to add a more finished look (optional). 3. Last step-here's where you can hide any odd bits! Optionally, the seams and the top edge of the felt may be covered with some ribbon. Next, wrap the ribbon around the outside at both top & bottom [Gaps? What gaps? 😉 ]; secure all pieces of ribbon with glue. Accent with some of the cord, if you like.
WOW!!! I'm totally saving this video!!! I LOVE every project!!! They're so original and unique. Your brain works on a whole other level than mine. I would have never come up with these amazing projects. Thank you so very much for sharing these with us!!! 💯👍🏻👏🏼🖤💯👍🏻👏🏼🖤💯👍🏻👏🏼🖤
I just bought 2 laterns from Dollar Tree for $5.00 two days ago. They had black, white & antique. They were located in the outdoor section but going fast. The laterns came with the LED candles.
All I have to say is WOW to each and every project you created!!! Amazing!!! So cool and fresh!!! I loved all of them!!!! Thank you for sharing!!😎😎😎😎🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
Thoroughly enjoyed this 😊 ive been a subscriber for yrs and have even made a few of these. You were one of the first people i found and subscribed too. Came for the diys, stayed for the laughs ❤😊
Definitely doing the wall scones, great and simple idea i need light in my hallway, yes keep showing all your videos love them, say hi to Ottis kiss and a hug, have a blessing day ❤
Love that table with the trash cans! Also the stone trivet!! I might have to try them!! Oh yes and those wall sconces!!!!! I might have to cut my one bag that I bought like that and make a couple!!!
The rocks for the trivet, adding resin, was my second favorite. I have everything but rocks. I will get those tomorrow. My first favorite was the sunburst. Only I don't “do” mirrors, my eyesight is too bad. I will figure out a substitute and make that this weekend. Boy, I have a lot of things I want to do. My roommate wants help on her gift from me, a diamond painting. Something to do while I am waiting for stuff to dry. Much better than housework.
Guess I’ve been watching longer than I thought. The wind spinner decorations I made after seeing your video when I moved into my house almost 5 years ago. They are still up, still look great and I still love them. Thank you! Happy new year.
Very very nice diys Jamie, I loved them all. You always give us something new, exciting and very well put together. I usually don't comment but i had to give you your flowers today 😊 thanks
I have never seen any of these. Thanks for sharing. I enjoyed watching this video. Always fun to look back. Love the pocket watch and the vase holder, the only thing different that I would have done is put the jute cord around the plunger and the ring for better adhesion. That E6000 and the tube it comes in always makes a mess and I squeeze the heck out of mine as well. I like to get my money's worth. I would love to see more videos like this and any new content as well. Hope you have a Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year.
All your projects are very cool, creative and cheap! I liked all of them😊 The last one w the chip clip had me stumped I gotta say lol. But it turned out to be my favorite! Very original! 😊
The wind spinner on the boxes are so awesome Jamie! And the plastic bag wall sconces came out great. Like I've said in the past, You are the sconce master!!!!!😊 The table is adorable. Super cute projects! Thanks for sharing.
@@TheCraftyDIYGuy/ Hi, next time you want to put a nail in thin and narrow wood like the embroidery rings. It would be better to drill a hole the same size or a bit smaller. Then the wood should not split. Nice crafting I think I would like to try some.
I just love your videos. ❤💜 I love your creative ideas. You always seem so happy, you have the kind of loving energy that we need more of in this world. ❤
Wow! I can’t pick which is my favorite-I like them all! Enjoying watching your journey; you look so happy and content. Wishing you much luck and joy this year. Here’s to new beginnings!🥂
Love your videos and nice to see you on here!!!❤❤ Love that gold mirror and pocket watch handle gold looks nice on your wall!!! The lanterns were a good idea! The copper painted wind mills one looked like a kite and the swirly ball and all in the cool copper!
This is the first time I've come across your videos. Love them. You have the greatest imagination. I'm looking at all of this, just thinking it's a pile of "random stuff." However, you have a vision in your head, and it all works out. I really liked the sconces the best. Would love to do those. And the items you made, working with all the skewers... I would be fumbling and dropping those all over the floor, and would give up completely. Lol. Keep on inspiring us. ❤
As usual so great! I had not seen those diys so it was exciting. I think at one time you did a Christmas stool, and covered the top with fabric. If you did I would like to see that diy again. Thanks for all you do. Love and hugs.
Omg I made the little side table so many years ago I can’t even remember when I first started watching DIYers Kelly Barlow was the first I ever watched 11 years ago! God bless her.. I’m so happy to have found all of you! The mirror on the end, amazing! And the candlestick tray that is so cute the one your mother still has after all these years I’m going to make both! Keep on crafting! ❤️💯🌻❤️

WOW!!🤩 Just when I think you are doing a great job with your gift of creativity, You always seem to take it up a notch!! FANTASTIC, Jamie..great choices to share your talents..We all sure appreciate the time, effort and most of all your inspiration. You always manage to lift my spirit!! 🥳 Happy New Year!! Can’t wait to see what you have to share with your glue gun 😂for 2024… so proud of you Jamie on you have evolved! 😊
I know this idea doesn't go with the $ tree theme, but i would use UV resin to hold things together 😉 i mean for the wacth project, and minor spots to adhere things you would love my frontroom, its 1/2 midnight blue 1/2 white, mahogany chair rail. The rock trivet, could be used for plant drip trays

I am so grateful that you are moving your mom in with you. May God bless you as you honor your mother.

That was a nice look back. I need to make at least one of them.
